These photographs, posted online by Casey Anthony before her incarceration, may cripple any sympathy a jury may have shared with the 23 year old mother of Caylee Marie Anthony.
The infamous "Casey Anthony Party Pictures," (not shown) which depict Casey Anthony partying at Club Fusion, were reportedly taken on June 21, 2008--almost a week after Caylee Anthony went missing. Still, Caylee Anthony was not reported missing until July 15, 2008. The call came from Caylee Anthony's maternal grandmother, Cindy Anthony. Casey Anthony never bothered to call police to report her daughter missing.
George Anthony, the father of Casey Anthony, told Fox News "the photos of Casey shown partying were not taken during Caylee's disappearance, but rather three years ago when Casey was actually pregnant."
Ironically, Tony Lazzaro, Casey Anthony's most recent boyfriend, can be seen in several of the photographs that have been shown on Fox News.
Lazzaro has only known Casey Anthony since the Spring of 2008.
This is just one of many inconcsistencies and/or contradictions that have come from the Anthony family.
What some may see as a young woman's struggle with autonomy and dependence in these photos, a jury may see a self-destructive woman with a high-risk lifestyle.

Yeah, the whole gas cans in the trunk story doesn't add up to me. First, in the Greta OTR interview, George claims he was by the car with Casey (paraphrasing), 'and then she opened the trunk' and Cindy interrupts, 'and there were the gas cans.' The next story George tells is quite different. Casey goes to the trunk, opens it, yanks the gas cans out and shoves them at George, and says 'here's your effin' gas cans.' Which story is the truth? I think George smelled something WAY before the car was picked up at the tow place. I keep thinking that he had to know something was wrong the day the gas cans were reported missing. Who reports stolen gas cans?
I live here in Orlando and have a daughter Caseys age and many of my daughters friends knew Casey and all say she was a total B.S. seller and none of her young friends bought her regular B.S. and can't believe anything she says. So her story about 'ugly coping'? just another pile of lies and I fail to believe her attorneys haven't told her no one is going to believe forging checks and being a party girl to cope or find a phantom nanny.
Thanks for dropping by, chefdan. I don't believe the 'ugly coping' strategy is going to fly either. 'Ugly coping' doesn't provide a reason for human decomposition in your trunk. Nor does it lead you to drag police to your make believe job or chase after imaginary nannys. If Baez is actually going for this 'ugly coping' strategy, I'm assuming that he's going to use it as her reason for partying at club fusian, not reporting her daughter missing, and acting like a self-centered twit on audio/video surveillance from jail. Can't wait to hear how he's going to explain the rest of the stuff...
I am wondering how ANY defense lawyer can explain that the bedding, the garbage bag, the laundry bag AND the computer searches regarding death and chloroform among others, could point at ANYONE besides the family and Tot Mom. Do they really think someone came in, stole the bedding and laundry bag and then searched on her computer before killing little Caylee? Give it up Baez and Casey. You must think we are all idiots.
As for George and Cindy, after that display at the deposition I no longer feel sorry for them. Their support for their daughter does not have to lead to spiteful, disgusting, rude and disrespectful behavior during a legal proceeding. I see very clearly where Casey gets her behavior.
It just seems to me, that lawyers, well some lawyers, do whatever it takes to win, even if they know their client is guilty. I mean, yeah I know it's their job, and that's why their hired, so they can prove their client innocent, but to me, when the facts are right there, I don't think I could defend someone like that.....and if it's really "ugly coping," then why is it just coming up now. Why didn't they say that in the beginning. Seems like they are using excuse after excuse, and when one thing doens't work, they think of something else. And yeah, poor Cindy and George, lost their grandchild and might lose their daughter. But, I don't feel sorry for them when it comes to Casey. If I knew my daugter did something like that, I wouldn't be defending her, I don't care how close I was to my daughter, wrong is wrong.
First of all, I stopped feeling sorry for George and Cindy Anthony after seeing them act out on camera so many times. Yes, the situation is beyond stressful, yet they are so negative to anyone who is attempting to even get the slightest bit of information from them. They must have noticed that Casey was an avid and skilled liar. Did they simply look the other way as if it wasn't happening? Out of sight, out of mind? They could have stepped forward and reported her to authorities. It is clear she was an unfit and selfish young woman who did not want any responsiblities at all. Having Caylee might have been exciting to begin with, then the demands of having a young child started interfering with her social life way too much. Casey has mental issues, ones that never have been dealt with previously. Because of that, an innocent child lost her life.
Morgan and NKS: My thoughts exactly on George and Cindy. Obviously they care more about their disgusting daughter than finding justice for their slain Granddaughter. If only they knew how foolish they look on television and that their rude, antagonistic behavior does not do Casey any good. Makes her even look more guilty IMO!
I have been an RN ER nurse and Critical Care RN more than 29 years. Her mom is a nurse. I can't believe how defensive they are of their daughter. What about Caylee? This little innocent child was murdered. And Casey goes out and parties? This is just sick! I pray justice for Caylee. I pray the truth be revealed. We all have to account for our sins.
I do not agree with catlady's comment. I did feel for the grandparents until they starting lying for their "wonderful" daughter. Who is on Caylee's side? Why don't they want justice for that beautiful angel? Because their daughter means more to them than their granddaughter did, that's why!
In case you haven't been following the case, George and Cindy Anthony are scheduled to appear on Larry King Live on Wednesday, May 13th.
Also, if you notice, when Casey "found out" that the remains were found by her house, instead of screaming about wanting her little girl, etc, she just hyperventilates and worries about herself. If it had been my dog I would have been an emotional wreck, crying and screaming for the dog, not for my poor self. This woman and her family are sick people. If I had murdered my child, I know for a fact my parents would NOT cover for me and would want justice for their grandchild. Cindy and George you are silly fools who obviously did not love your grandchild as much as you want us to believe. And yes.... Cindy... it is rude to chew gum, let alone in court. Their dissing of the legal system is going to hurt them in court proceedings ahead.

So....why was Casey hyperventilating when they found the body in the woods? They hadn't identified it as Caylee's body. She was hyperventilating because SHE knew it was Caylee and that it had been found. Only a jury filled with morons could find her innocent. There is just WAY too much evidence.
You know, futonfraggle, this "ugly coping" thing could be a great tool for all of us: just misbehave and blame it on that! WOW! Think of what we could be getting away with! I am a licensed professional counselor and I have never heard the term. And if I had, I would have given the client a good dose of "reality therapy!" That is exactly what Casey needs.
These parents are so afraid of their daughter, I believe, they do not dare cross her. I have never seen such a blatant case of enabling in my life! No one has ever "called" Casey on anything, thus her lying, stealing and misbehaving continues. According to various sources, Casey Anthony was notified when they found what appeared to be some type of remains in another location months earlier (it was a decaying animal, if I'm not mistaken). No reaction. But this time, she hyperventilated. In my opinion, that's because she knew she was busted.
Marilyn, this "ugly coping" thing is going to be the term of 2009 I think. Everyone has "ugly coping" skills suddenly. Such B.S. I have to watch this interview again. Two or three things jumped out at me. At one point, George is talking, Cindy interrupts and he mutters something underneath his breath. I'd like to know what he said. In another point of the interview, Cindy claims God took Caylee away (I believe this is her way of accepting Caylee's death, but removing her daughter from the equation), and in another point of the interview, Cindy gets crazy about the diary, first stating that it was written in 2005, Brad Conway says it was written in 2003, and all hell seems to break lose for a moment.
Cindy Anthony also claims (paraphrasing here) "Casey was going to her job," making reference to one of the photos of her daughter partying. We know that Casey hasn't had a job for at least 2 years so what is Cindy Anthony talking about?

I was pretty shocked at Larry's questions, too. I think he threw quite a few out there that they weren't expecting. They didn't look 'prepped' for Larry King's (unusual) hardball questions.
Her parents are unbelievable. Now I see why Casey lacks the moral most of us have. Her parents have none, lost their innocent granddaughter because their own daughter killed her, in denial and still defend their daughter. What a crock. They say the media has no room to judge, yet ALL signs point to their daughter in this horrible, merciless act. I don't believe someone can or should be forgiven, in this case even the grandparents, when they cannot admit to or accept the truth. This is why the media is so upset with them. I think they blame themselves for their sorry excuse for a daughter and what she has done, so their way of repent is through forgiveness of the unthinkable; murder.
And I also agree with the other poster that George is the only one who can come forward and put an end to this for good. He knows. He is trying to salvage what is left of his life by standing idle to his wife who is responsible for the real evil lurking in this family. What a shame. Man up George. Not sure what this is maybe a DNA test is in order here as well being that they conducted one on Lee. This seems to be a very deceitful, evil family with Cindy leading the pack.

Bugs me, too, that people say she is entitled to a presumption of innocence. That is ONLY in a court of law. In the court of public opinion, we do not have to give her that! It seems like a day doesn't go by without Casey Anthony or George and Cindy Anthony in the news. Today:
- Judge Jose Rodriguez is allowing Zenaida Gonzalez's defamation lawsuit to move forward w/ possibile punative damages in addition to pain & suffering.
- Ronald Cummings releases a statement stating that his family does not want to be included in the Anthony family agenda. This came after a missing childrens rally (organized by Michelle Bart, the Anthony's former spokesperson).
This is the press release issued by issued by the Kimball & Snider Law Firm:
"The family of Ronald Cummings, father of Haleigh Cummings, wishes to make it clear that they do not want any involvement by George and Cindy Anthony in the continuing search for Haleigh Cummings. The Anthony's have their own agenda, as witnessed by their recent media tour. The facts relating to the death of Calee (sic) Anthony, which resulted in the first degree murder charges against Casey Anthony, are in no way similar to Haleigh's disappearance."

That whole thing about them helping missing kids is ridiculous. They didn't even look (nor did their daughter) for Caylee's killer!
New member of Casey Anthony defense team to be introduced at trial tomorrow (Thursday). Casey Anthony's lawyers will try to prevent the release of footage taken inside the prison (Casey Anthony's reaction to the news that a child's remains had been found in a wooded area near the Anthony home).
I am sure everyone has those pictures laying around that you hope never get made public.
These pics do no define who she is. I know plenty of good people who like to party and probably have done a few things they are embarassed about. All these pictures show is that she is hot and likes to party.
BigFan, I don't think these pictures DEFINE who she is, but I think they paint a pretty good picture of the type of life she led. I don't doubt that you know many good people who like to party, but I'm willing to bet that those people do not rob their parents, grandparents and friends (in order to party), or lie about having a job (in order to get their parents to watch their kid while they party).

Andrea Lyon, a death-penalty expert, joins Casey Anthony defense. Lyon does not expect Casey Anthony's trial to start in October, as expected, because she believes more time will be needed to prepare the case.
Regarding the video of Casey Anthony's reaction to a child's remains being found in a wooded area, Judge Stan Strickland said he wanted to provide the media an opportunity to argue why the video should be public record. The decision has been delayed.
Re:Pictures. I do agree many have pictures they would be embarrassed about. BUT, I do doubt that the pictures would have been taken during a time just after their daughter had been kidnapped. According to sources, not all, but many of those pictures were taken during the time when Caylee was missing. I don't buy the "ugly coping."
Did you see Casey Anthony on the news (May 29th, 2009)? She is sitting next to her new lawyer, Andrea Lyon. The infuriating thing is: CA is looking Andrea up and down, literally judging her physical attractiveness. (My perception) Granted, having a lawyer that looks like a Barbie doll would look good on Entertainment Tonight, but it won't do CA one iota of good when facing the Florida death penalty. Just another reason I so thoroughly dislike Casey Anthony. (as in: I'm hot; she's not. Therefore, all these charges will bounce off of me)

Casey Anthony is a cold hearted liar that deserves to "fry" for her crime. I have a three year old daughter and if she ever went missing I would contact the police immediately. I would NOT be out partying and being a skank, I would be doing everything I possibly could to find my child. Casey Anthony never looked for Caylee because she knew that Caylee was DEAD because she KILLED her!! I have no sympathy for this cold blooded murderer and I don't think she deserves to be on this earth. Her main supporters are the men following the case that find her attractive and know her reputation as being an "easy" tramp. Caylee Anthony deserves justice and I hope that our justice system does just that. NO child should EVER have to go through that! I understand that Casey was a young mother and it may have been difficult. But I myself am a young mother, my daughter was born in my junior year of high school. But I graduated and am now almost finished with my associates degree. Being a young mother is no excuse to neglect your child to go out and party and act like scum.
Caylee Anthony's autopsy results have been released. There are a lot of new findings in Caylee Anthony's autopsy results, including:
No drugs in Caylee's system (what was the chloroform used for?)
And get this: Two sets of cloth letters were found intermingled with plant material and debris. Garavaglia said the first set spelled "big" and the second group appeared to spell "trouble."

The cause of Caylee's death is listed as "homicide by undetermined means."

Apparently the cloth letters were appliqués from a shirt that read, "Big Trouble Comes Small."
SEVERAL layers of duct tape were stretched across the mouth (and possibly the nose)--and duct tape was still attached to scalp hairs. Although bones were scattered all over the wooded lot--the skull was intact. In other words, the duct tape held the mandible to the skull.
Now, I think it's important to note that standard duct tape is 1 7/8 inches wide, while some companies, like 3M, manufacture heavy-duty duct tape that is 2 inches wide. I just used a tape measure to measure from the tip of my chin to the tip of my nose--it's exactly 3 inches. Since a two-year-old child's face is much smaller than mine, I think it's safe to assume that the duct tape covered Caylee's nose, too. I strongly believe she was suffocated.
If a person's mouth and nose are obstructed, unconsciousness can occur within 1 minute. About 7 minutes of oxygen deprivation causes death of the cerebral cortex and presumably themedulla oblongata, which controls breathing and heart action.
We'll never know if "burking" (where the mouth or nose are obstructed and someone sits on the chest to prevent the diaphragm from moving up and down) took place; there's no tissue to examine. Normally, when burking is the cause of death, the body exhibits bruises, abrasions, and broken blood vessels in the eyes.
This blog is odd. The pictures were taken long before Caylee went missing, that is completely obvious. Second, her reaction to hearing about a dead child less than a mile from her house, in the woods that she use to play in as a child, is not so strange either. If I was juror I am certain I could make a fair judgement and not lace it with these very odd and strange "assumptions". I have no idea if she did it or not, but do know there are entirely too many people focused on it from day one.
What exactly are you and all of these people "getting" from this? Why not the same fasination on other missing and murdered children nationally and globally? Is this attraction because the mother happens to be beautiful and you either want her or feel insanely jealous of her? It seems rather odd and obsessive. I like to read about it sometimes because it is constantly on my local newspaper, and abosolutely know there are many in this country that are not no ignorant to know this case is far from over.
She has a high likeliness of not being found guilty. They still don't have all the evidence they need, and it's been a year now. I hope that justice is served for little Caylee, but not off the backs her grandparents or mother who may or may not be guilty.

Even Better.... What was even more odd were the actions NOT taken by the mother and trying to cover everything up with lie after stupid laughable lie. The state has a stronger case than you think and the bi-polar sociopath will be found GUILTY when the time comes because of one simple truth, she did it and every juror knows this already. If you had been following closely over the past year and seen the actions and words not only of her but her lunatic family you would understand why there is SO much "public focus" on this one instead of the thousands of others that are going on at the same time. Are you kidding me? I am not sure you have seen the available evidence. I know we have not seen all of it either, but the circumstantial evidence is overwhelming. Also, she only reacted severely when the body near the house was reported. Other body reports she never blinked an eye. Maybe these pictures were not taken then, but there are many that were taken immediately after the child went missing. Also, the week after Caylee went missing, she got a tattoo that said in Italian... Beautiful Life. Hmmmm....
Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that a book has been written about Casey Anthony, but I am. Who writes a book before the case even goes to trial? Diane Fanning, that's who.
