cats and christmas trees
62what cat doesn`t love a christmas tree?
Over the years i have learned when i put the Christmas tree up is to lock up the cats! I certaintly do not want to become a climbing post so they can get to the top quicker..I don`t need any help breaking any ornament`s, i can do that on my own. I have learned to really tie on the ornaments so the cat`s can`t take them off and carry them off to god know`s where...I really don`t need the help at all...Don`t put bell`s on the bottom of the tree-the cats will be batting them around and that noise can wake anybody up in the house including the kids...Fragile and glass ornaments don`t need to be on the bottom either...they can go to the top..If the cat breaks them, you will be upset cause you can`t find that kind anymore or they were momento`s from when you were a child...Some cats are stupid enough to try to eat the glass which is not good for them at all..You might have to take them to the vet which is going to cost you dearly like around the holidays when everybody likes to take their vacation and spend time with their family...Cat`s also like to chew on christmas light wires too..Keep an eye them or they can be toast when you are not around...Chewing on the wires can cause a house fire...So, be very carefull this holiday season with your feline companion...
