Training your pup at an early age is an important part of his education.

Your toy dog can be more adorable if he undergoes a King Charles Spaniel training as early as two months. Training your pup at an early age is a pattern for his education that could make you proud of your special pet.

A King Charles Spaniel training starts at two to three months old, the ideal age when your puppy should begin learning his daily routine. This includes locating his food and water dishes, his bed, and his toys. He should also start finding his way to the bathroom and the routes he will be taking on for walks.

Puppies love routines because safe and reassured if they know where to find the things they need and when to do a certain predictable schedule. King Charles Spaniel training reassures your pet the predictability of things regardless of the unfamiliarity of his new world.

King Charles Spaniel training reassures him that he knows what comes next, that his world is the same as it was yesterday, and that it will be the same tomorrow. Routines reassure him that you, his master is dependable, and that he can count on you to say and do the same things.

A dog's training pattern also a pup to be familiar to certain words like NO or STOP THAT and GOOD. He must learn to stop whatever he is doing when you say NO or STOP THAT, and wag his tail and look happy when you say GOOD. To take things gently from your hand, make him familiarize the words "Easy!" No grabbing.

Introducing your pet to his bathroom spot is an important part of King Charles Spaniel training, but a puppy of 2-3 months old is still an infant, so it will be several months before his internal organs are developed enough for reliability. Toy breeds are especially slow to housebreak,so many are not being reliable until eight to ten months of age.

Teach him what a grooming table is, and introduce the grooming positions of "Sit" and "Stand" and "Open your mouth" while you handle him all over, brush his coat, brush his teeth, and clip his nails. He should also know the food words like "Hungry," "Supper", "Breakfast", and "Biscuit".

At 3-6 months old, a puppy should have learned the following things from the King Charles Spaniel training:

  • To sit on command.
  • To lie down on command - and to STAY lying down for up to 30 minutes.
  • To stop barking when you tell him to be quiet. To interact well with strangers, other dogs, and other animals.
  • To walk politely on the leash.
  • To look directly at you when you say his name.
  • To come when called.
  • To "give" or drop whatever is in his mouth when you tell him to.
  • To play games (such as "Find it!" and "Bring it!") with his toys.
  • To wait inside the door or gate, even when it's wide open, and more.

At 6-10 months old, your puppy should begin learning adorable stints that could make you proud of him. He must learn to stay sitting while you walk away from him, look directly at your face when you need his full attention, walk very attentively by walking close behind your left leg, and retrieve his ball or toy when you throw it.

Lastly, as a culmination to the King Charles Spaniel training, he must learn doing simple tricks like "shake hands, dance, roll over, and catch". He should also run an obstacle course for dogs - "Jump!" "Tunnel!" "Walk it!" "Climb it!" But most important of all,he should learn to recognize the individual names of family members, the people who will love and take good care of him for the rest of his life.
