Celebrities turning 40 in 2009

Even while Julia Roberts gave sparkling positivity to her own 40th birthday, there are plenty of stars just like Sharon Stone who likened the big 4-0 to having leprosy.  While these are perfectly normal thoughts, it may be shocking to hear them come from some of our favorite actors of the last few decades.

When compiling this list, I had my own brief moment of "UGH!!" as I came to realize my own 27th birthday is fast approaching.  Thinking about it though, while I was wearing diapers, the followng stars were combatting hair in strange places, acne, and probably making oodles of money anyway (in some cases.)

All the actors, actresses and other such celebrities were born in 1969, the same year Led Zeppelin I was released, Nixon took office, the war in Vietnam fiercely rages and conjoined twins Violet and Daisy Hilton died.
