My Fascination With Augustinemsusic
47My Fascination With Augustinemusic
It was a wedding three months ago and I was glad that my friend had such a solemn and grand celebration. It was an intimate affair with 90 guests and almost everyone knows each other. I had a part of helping the couple by recommending a florist at a budget but turned the venue a sight to behold with roses of different colors splashed all around dramatically. The venue was not that big but we had a comfortable space. It can house 120 guests for the maximum. Even the food was superb. I cannot say anything but that word.
The most important thing that made the ceremony and reception worth cherishing are the varied music provided by the Augustinemusic Ensemble. The church ceremony was like a concert of sort with careful playing and beautiful music choices. I knew the couple chose the selections. Ah, they have taste after all. During the reception, the moment the guests were arriving one after the other I heard them playing already. If my memory served me right, it was a bossa nova thing with those lilting beats. Fantastic. When dinner was served I enjoyed my meal with those soothing music like "I'll Be Seeing You," "Somewhere In Time," "La Mer," Theme from Ice Castles and more but the song that struck me most was the song "Send In The Clowns" sang by their vocalist. The feel was there and that should be the way to entertain.
We had a grand time and after the program dancing time. By the way, some guests from the states came and they were the ones who started to roll.
