Don't Pay Too Much For Your Cruise

Just like you wouldn't want to pay too much for a car or a TV or any other high ticket item for that matter, you shouldn't pay too much for a cruise.

And why should you when you don't have to?

Every week I get emails about the most awesome prices for different cruises. Let me give you an example:

  • 4 night Royal Caribbean Bahamas Cruise departing Miami for $197
  • 5 night Norwegian Cruise Lines Canada Cruise round trip from Philadelphia for just $429. For an ocean view!
  • How about a 7-night Celebrity Alaska cruise starting at $899!

And that's just three examples. I have more. The bottom line is if you've decided to take a cruise, you owe it to yourself to check some cheap cruise deals. They're out there. But seriously, I don't know for how long.

It's not so much that the cruise deal will go by the wayside. It's just that deals like these tend to be sporadic. In fact on my blog BookYourDreamCruise.com, I have a page that is dedicated to looking for and going on a cheap cruise.

You can find it at Cheap Cruises com. It's on that page that I briefly discuss frugality and why even people with oodles of money should also be frugal. Because what it comes down to is why on earth would you spend more money on something that you can get for less?

Doesn't make any sense, does it?

Due Diligence Works

You've got to be diligent when saving money on a cruise.   There are certain things to keep in mind before you book.

  • Where is the cruise departing from?
  • Is it within a reasonable flying distance from you?
  • Would you like to go South(warm) or North(cold) on your cruise?

Remember that wherever you have to fly to get to your ship, there are costs involved with the airfare.  However, don't forget that, again, if you're diligent, you can even save money on your flight too!

Saving money on travel requires a certain shrewdness and good negotiation skills don't hurt either.  It's a matter of keeping the idea that you want to save money uppermost in your mind.

And just think; Every dollar that you save on your cruise tickets or flight tickets, you can spend on your cruise
