This is a very simple effect. It should not take more than a minute to carry out,and it ends up looking really good.

fake blood (instructions can be found here)

white paper towels or toilet paper

masking tape

1. Tape down the finger that you want to make dissapear. This is best done by bending it in half upon it's self, so that both knuckles are bent at a 90° angle.
2. Tape a small piece of t.p./ paper towel over the top of the new stub.
3. Dip your stub into the blood. you may want to apply it with your fingers instead. It is up to you.
4. To really make it look messy, dip a different finger into your blood mix, and dab it around randomly on the tapeunder the wound.
5. Congratulations! it looks like youput your hand into a lawn mower, then tried (poorly) to bandage yourself!
