Bambino Abuse - Forestallment, Diagnosis and Reporting

Worldwide, millions of children suffer from abuse and neglect. Even though we would rather avoid it, this issue is a top priority. This atrocity affects kids from all ethnicities, incomes, age groups and genders. At any cost to mankind, child abuse and child neglect must cease and desist.

Child abuse and child neglect are tendencies that are not determined by an individual's genre, status or class in society.

The government defines child abuse and child neglect as causing sexual abuse, serious mental or physical harm, exploitation, or death as the result of the parent or caregiver taking an action or failing to take a needed action.

Essentially, child abuse or neglect is committed when the caregiver is unable to intervene at an instant when an act or failure to act could result to undue injury or harm.

Child abuse is awful to hear about on the news and we hear stories almost every day, the law is fairly clear about the punishment. But, every child abuse case, is not completely cut and dried. Recognizing a child abuse victim might save a life.

In-utero child abuse can occur before a child is born, if the mother uses drugs that are harmful to the fetus, drinks alcohol, or uses tobacco. When a mother does this kind of behavior the baby is at risk and this is child abuse. The proper authorities should be notified immediately if you have any suspicions of child abuse. Physical contact, like swatting a child on the bottom, and child abuse are not the same thing. Spanking a child with an object, such as a belt or using a closed fist to hit a child is child abuse and reporting the incident is necessary.
