A Few CDs Kids AND Parents will Love
I loathe bad children's music. Car rides can be absolutely excruciating with the wrong music. Luckily, I have found a few CDs that are completely bearable for my kids and the adults in the car. Check them out, add some more suggestions and let me know what you think.

Night Songs & Lullabies
Price: $9.99
List Price: $17.98 |
"Night Songs and Lullabies" by Kim Scanlon is a great CD for napping and quiet babies in the backseat. Our newborn loves it and will stop crying promptly when we put on the second track, Hit the Road to Dreamland. We have traveled a lot recently and it has really made our trips a lot easier. Her other album "Humabyes" is also wonderful, but there are no lyrics.

Harry Connick, Jr.'s CD, "Songs I Heard", is a great upbeat album. You will probably recognize almost all of the songs. There are songs from The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Annie.
