Several health specialists agree that a good mattress should adapt to the several zones of the body allowing the column to maintain an erect position. Cares like these should also extend to the kind of cushion, that should be adapted to the physical kind of each individual, by what should fill all the space between the shoulder and the cervical column.

The ideal mattress should adapt to the weight of the body in a comfortable form, maintaining the adequate posture for the column allowing muscular relaxation, and promote blood circulation and perspiration. It must therefore, be adjustable the biorype (relation weight/height) of each person. In this way, should be firm and flexible, this is, the sufficient sustentation confer for bear all the weight of the body without give up, and at the same time be comfortable, providing a correct position, that supports the body and minimizes points of pressure and muscular efforts, during the rest.

Each kind of mattresses has several ranks of firmness. Know that the firmness of the mattress you will acquire should be pondered in function of the combination of two factors: weight and height.

The ideal mattress should be Firm and Adaptable to your weight and height, neither "hard" neither "soft", it should feel right to you... All the curves of the body must have support and the column must stay in straight position, without to being forced, maintaining adapting correctly to the weight of your body. If you use a very hard mattress you might "twist" the column and hurt the hips, the shoulders and the thighs. The muscles stay tense when they should rest causing you an uncomfortable feeling.

Your mattress should allow to change of position during the night in a comfortable form. Another important aspect, that you must have in count, is the capacity of the mattress for facilitate the evaporation of sweat, avoiding it to be accumulated in it's interior, what alone can contribute to the mattress deterioration.

I like soft mattresses

Although SOFT mattresses are comfortable when you try them, they do not sustain the muscles during your sleep, compressing them on one side and relaxing them on another. It can cause curves or distortions in the surface, promoting an untidiness of the spine. The vicious tension that the muscle of the lumbar, dorsal, cervical area and gluteus does to restore the natural position of the column during the period of the sleep, leaves a tense musculature, produces discomfort and pain by the morning, aggravating problems of posture.

A hard mattress does not adapt to your body and therefore causing tentionThat well hard model, that is not adapted to the curves of the column, should be avoided, therefore creates uncomfortable points of pressure in his shoulders and hips. Verify that a bad positioning or inadequate movement of the bones, can cause the bad operation of the fabrics and organs by all the body. It complicates the relaxation of the body, therefore exercises pressure about the skin and the muscles, injures the blood circulation, causing cramps and tinglings.
