I've always loved Christmas borders because they're so festive. And these black and white Christmas borders are particularly versatile, because in addition to complete borders you can use as-is, there are components you can mix and match.

These borders were made in Picnik, the free online graphics application. (If you'd like to learn to make your own free clip art in Picnik, read my Picnik tutorial.) The only drawback to these images is that some of the pieces with more delicate features aren't made to be used large. But if you have a use for smaller black and white borders, you'll love them anyway. Some of the pieces can be used quite large, though, so let the final size of your artwork dictate which components you'll use.

To download the borders, and/or their additional components, please read the instructions below.

Instructions for Downloading the Black and White Christmas Borders and Components

Choose a thumbnail version of any of the Christmas borders or components above the large images. When you click on one of the images, it will appear larger.

IMPORTANT: Once you've chosen an image and see it larger, double-click on the larger image, which will make the best version of the art appear. Sorry for the extra step, but this will give you the highest quality art.

Then, if you have a PC, just right-click and save the final version of the artwork to your hard drive.

Hi, I adore this web site. Its wonderful. Its everything I love ! I would like to know if the free Halloween Black & White clip art can be used to make things and then sell them on. Not to sell the clip art on though...I would never do that...Kind regards X

Hi, Alison.

Your best bet is to go to http://Picnik.com and get the images yourself. That way you can size them however you want and combine the images, etc. I'm not sure whether these particular images are available with a free Picnik account. If not, their paid account is unbelievably cheap.

Have fun!
