That breakfastpop castle may be worth some money now - 35 years old? But even more important, it stands as a point in a life of a child, when he/she recalls receiving it and what went on about that event. We adults love to go to castles because it's history, really. Thanks for reminding us of castles, kings, queens, and a time that was not any easier for the people - likely life in a room on the fourth floor of that castle was a real bore for the so-called "rich" kids who had to race down all those stairs to an outside head. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they had inside plumbing in those days - not even the kings and queens. It's an era - or many such times - about which poets and authors write and we, the readers, fanticise about. Don White

My children -a boy and a girl- both love castles, from the fairy Barbie castles to the dark pirate's castles. Sometimes the play with dinosaurs in the barbie castle or barbie gets kidnaped by pirates in their dark castles... it is all fun. The castles are one of the toys my children use the most.
