            Poem # 28

          City roads.

Now is dawn and traffic is on,

Pi-pi pom-pom road is on.

Around all is sun in shine but dark is road,

Hardly one can see its face.

Cars, lorries, and bikes all on move,

Safe driving now is a tedious job.

                Some drivers are very rude,

                Taking road as personal terrace,

Emitting pollution others to face,

Blowing horns at full pace.

Every matador is in top race,

Thinking it may add to their grace.

Traffic personnel are mere spectators,

Leaving public to become wanderers.

                 Stray animals abode on middle,

Guys in teen make bikes to fiddle.

Overtaking is fashion on shine,

Few drivers fly after taking in wine.

                Though on every busy road

There is in bold written on board,

Reckless driving kill and die,

Leaving kith and kin to cry.

Seasoned drivers are now on shy

Could they pass in to days try?
