Cookie Johnson, wife of Magic Johnson, the famous basketball player, was tired of never being able to find jeans which fit right. Frustrated, she decided to create her own jean line. Since she has a degree in Retailing of Clothing and Textiles, she decided to Join with Micheal Glasser, the owner of a jean line called Rich & Skinny, to create a new line of jeans. She designed a jean to fit a body type like hers, "fit but curvey." Although the jeans come in the most popular cuts, they have more room in the thighs and derriere. The collection comes in boot cut, straight leg, boyfriend, high waist, and leggings. For those of you unfamiliar with the latest fashions, boyfriend jeans are relaxed and low-rise. They are simply over-sized jeans which look like they may belong to your boyfriend. Ranging in sizes from 24 - 38, they are expensive. The costs can range anywhere from $145 to $198.
