Classic Traffic...Classic promotions

Traffic Exchanges were some of the first form of website promotion for the new and emerging online business crowd. I first started in traffic exchanges in the early 90's. "No More Hits" was the biggest and best.

Like everything else, it seems they became dated..but in reality they still have an incredible population of users, are an excellent way to get free traffic to your websites and to meet other online entrepreneurs. They have changed to keep up with marketing and promoting of the CURRENT online business An online associate, Steve Pershall and I have started one of the new hover manual exchanges. I admit it...I LOVE IT! It makes surfing so much more pleasant. I have written many Blog posts and articles on the benefits of traffic exchanges, but this makes everything OLD new again for me.

I work on computers all day. I still participate in some of the most popular exchanges and auto surf programs, but the hover technology is the best of both worlds. You get the benefits of manual exchanges, where real people see your sites or they don't earn credits and your clicking finger gets a break! All traffic exchanges serve a purpose.

Auto surfs provide countable web hits (if they don't quit using them) which help your Alexa Ratings if you own your own domain. I have used them for years, not just for traffic but to keep up with what is currently popular on the Internet business scene as I watch sites go by. (Yes, some people do watch).

Manual exchanges have always been the premier version, since real people really look at your website. They are still awesome for lead generation and free promotion no matter what business you are in online. But...they really can tire you out. I try to surf 4 or 5 a day at the same time for 15-20 minutes. It build up great traffic for you, but clicking can become cumbersome. The hover manual exchange offers the same premier promotions but without the click, click, click. You do have to enter a capthca every so often (no cheaters) to keep it honest.

I consider traffic exchanges to be CLASSIC promotions. So when we set up 2EZ2BuildTraffic, Steve put classic cars on our header. I do love the exchange and I encourage anyone wanting classic promotions for their sites to come check us out!

Hi Veronica,

Thanks for visiting. A traffic exchange is a membership that allows you to view other people's websites so that they will view yours-a traffic swap so to speak.

sounds interesting.. in addition, web traffics also rely on the quality of site and SEO's effective techniques.

That is the nice thing about Traffic Exchanges. They are a great way to get traffic-untargeted- unless you are marketing something to online businesses in which Case it would be targeted traffic.

Traffic Exchanges offer a way to PROMOTE (not market) a site for free, and in many cases a way to make money through affiliate programs offered by the Traffic Exchange itself.

Quality of site and SEO techniques are VERY important for developing TARGETED traffic, and are true MARKETING strategies, not simple promotion.

Thanks so much for mentioning that!!
