Cleaning a cell phone should be a priority for any user.  Your cell phone is one of the dirtiest things you touch during the day.  It is carried in pockets, handled by your hands throughout the day and even by other people.  You do not think about washing your hands before pulling out and using it, so germs transfer from your hands to your cell phone and then fester there along with everything else around you.

In order to clean your cell phone, you simply need a paper towel and some Windex. You spray the Windex onto the paper towel and gently wipe over the cell phone. You want to make sure you do not use too much Windex, because this can cause internal damage if any liquid seeps into the phone. You want to wipe down the phone completely, working small circles to get grime that might have built up.

If you have hard to reach areas on your cell phone, you can use Q – Tips in those areas to work away the dirt there, too. Do not dip those Q – Tips in Windex or any other liquid, use them dry. This will keep them from getting any liquid into tiny areas of the phone that you cannot dry up. When you are done cleaning the phone, you can use a dry paper towel to wipe it down one more time.

If fingerprints bother you on your phone screen, you can use a screen protector to keep them off the main screens.  You cut these down to size and they not only protect the screen from fingerprints, scratches and other damages, you can also clean it much easier.  This is a good idea whether you clean your phone or not, but it should be utilized in some way to keep the screens safe from harm.
