Cobra is by far not the best form of insurance as it is both expensive and runs out eventually. On the flip side though, for people with health conditions or that would have trouble being accepted for insurance medically, COBRA is a great tool. It allows a former employee both time to find a new policy, or the option to get major medical insurance guaranteed! In conclusion, COBRA is not the best option, but it is one of the greatest tools when it comes to staying continually insurance and covered.
