48Coffee is a beverage that is prepared from roasted beans sometimes called seeds. Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in the world. I have been out in areas around Central America where no white man has ever walked and the first thing they offer you is a cup of coffee.
Coffee was first consumed in the 9th century by people living in the mountains of Ethiopia. From Ethiopia it went to Egypt then Persia from Persia it spread to Italy and then the Americas with a lot of stops in between.
Coffee has played roles in religious celebrations, political confrontations and activities, medical studies, and environmental issues.
We will be visiting countries around the world and how coffee plays a vital role in their economy and lifestyles. So stay tuned
