Wake up and smell the coffee

How many of you out there are coffee drinkers? There's nothing quite like a freshly brewed cup of coffee in the morning to get your day off to a great start. The fresh aroma of coffee is alluring, as is the rich flavor and energy jolting affect of caffeine flowing into your veins. Coffee goes well with just about any meal. From things as simple as toast and jam, to a plateful of pancakes, hash browns, or a traditional Japanese styled breakfast with rice and grilled fish. It's hot, and comforts the soul on many a chilly morning. And for those hot, muggy mornings, coffee is now popular served iced!

Coffee for health

Why coffee is good for you

Many research reports - growing by the day - now shed some light on the benefits of coffee. It turns out that a drink which is considered to be addictive may actually be good for your health.

Coffee contains tannin and antioxidants, which are beneficial to your heart and arteries. Coffee is capable of improving your health in a great number of ways. It's been known to relieve headaches, is good for the liver, can prevent gallstones, improve circulation in the heart, and even cut down on asthma attacks. That's quite a lot of power in one steaming mug of brewed coffee beans! Other incredible benefits of drinking coffee regularly include a lowered risk of developing Parkinson's disease, a reduced risk in colon cancer, and a decrease in liver cirrhosis.

So, keeping the remarkable benefits of drinking coffee in mind, I think that I'll go and finish off that donut with my freshly brewed cup of Breakfast Blend.

I cannot wake up if I dont have my two cups in the morning. Absolutely love the stuff and get very irritated if I dont get my fix every morning...

Coffee is my 2nd favourite, licorice being my first, but the two don't go together.
