Your first introduction to cohiba cigars

My name is Pat Sherman or as my buddies call me, 'The Sherminator!" Allow me to introduce you to the wonderful world of cohiba cigars. Beautiful, delicious, satisfying to the core, cohiba cigars! It's funny how I got started . . . pure accident actually. Me and my buddies were just hanging out knocking back a couple of cold ones when someone whipped out a box of cohiba cigars, I believe it was maduros.

Needless to say, after just a few puffs I was hooked! Its been 10 years since that 'blessed' day and I thing out of all the cuban cigars I've tried so far, the cohiba's are definitely my favorite. My goal is to find everyone smoker or non smoker and at least have the opportunity to share with them my passion for a cohiba cigar.

Lets start with a quick history lesson . . .

When it comes to cohiba cigars, their history is just as rich as the taste. It was the one an only Christopher Columbus on his initial journey when he was introduced to cohiba leaves. The natives offered Columbus cohiba leaves (Kind of dry) that were smoked in a pipe the natives called tobacco. I guess you can say our boy Christopher smoked the first cohiba cigar - and just for that I thank him from the bottom of my heart.

That is just a little bit of awesome history that adds further 'class' to a cohiba cigar. Did you know that the tobacco used to make cohiba cigars is actually 'aged' like wine for 5 years before getting rolled? Thats amazing!

Thank you for reading and much kudos to Chris for introducing the world to the beauty that is the Cohiba Cigars. My favorite from all of the cuban cigars out there!
