Competing With Other, More Experienced Writers

Other experienced writers? Don't worry about them. Do your own thing. How do you think the experienced ones started out? Some have it right away, for others, it's a process. (I'm one of the latter.)

To quote Winston Churchill: "Never, ever, ever, give up!" And, to quote Dory in "Finding Nemo", "Just keep swimming!"

Do not waste your time and energy worrying about what others think of you. Just do it. You'll get where you want to be if you want it badly enough.

One of the neatest things about HubPages.Com is you can go back and update any article you have written previously.

Network! I.E., get yourself a website at Weebly.Com (that is pgrundy's suggestion, not mine). Link all of your stuff together = each blog entry, each forum entry (wherever they may be), and each article you write.

The more you write, the better you will get.

There is no competition, there is only you, because, there is only one person who can vaildate your extistence, and, that one person is YOU! Just jump in!

Competition? There's somebody else who writes what I write, how I write it? Best way out of writer's block or blues is to write something, anything, regularly. HubPages shines for letting us do that.

NJoG, thanx for showing me that we don't need to write >1200 word monsters.
