Learn how to fix your own computer for free

Working in IT for the last ten years this is a question I hear quite a bit “why is my computer so slow and what can I do to speed it up?” People get pretty frustrated when they buy a computer that runs great and then six months later is so bogged down that they can barely even use it.

So what happened why did the computer suddenly get slow and what can I do to speed it up? Well there are a few reasons your computer gets bogged down and yes you can absolutely speed it up without spending a dime! The most common reasons for the computer being slow are cached temporary internet files – fragmented drives – spyware and adware.

The good news is they are all easy fixes and I am going to give you 4 fixes that I will walk you through step by step.

Temporary internet files or cookies are stored on your system everytime you visit a website it keeps track of it – the problem is there ends up being so many cookies that it slows your system to a crawl! –

A fragmented drive can really slow your system down as everytime you ask your computer to do something it has to search through all the fragmented file space to find what your looking for

spyware is the worst culprit there is. Spyware applications are programs and files that hide on your PC's hard drive without your direct knowledge and they make online browsing take forever to do anything..

As I mentioned I have laid out 4 step by step tips that you can follow to speed up your slow computer! If you memorize these steps you will be a hero to all your friends with slow computers! You can access that process at http://www.squidoo.com/pc_too_slow Good Luck I hope this will help you!
