If you are planning to have a boy, there are few steps you have to follow to ensure your success. Here, I would like to recommend two methods that will increase your chance to conceive a boy.

Sexual positions

The trick is easy. A boy sperm is small in size, lighter and active but unfortunately the life span is very short. Therefore you need a deep penetration technique. What a couple can do is to apply the missionary position during their sexual intercourse with the woman lying on her stomach with a pillow under her pelvis. The woman should bend her knees and lift both legs toward her chest. This position will allow deepest penetration and when the man ejaculates, the sperms will be deposited closer to the egg. This will give an easy job for the boy sperms to make use of their speed to reach the egg and ensure success in fertilizing the egg.

Timing of sex

As we all know, the boy sperms are smaller and very active and also faster swimmer but the life span is very short. Therefore the timing of the intercourse is very crucial. You have to be sure that during that short period of time you have to do your part.

It is important to figure out when a woman is most fertile. This just happens for few days each month, when ovulation takes place. It is important to know when the egg is released from the ovary. It is all depending on the period cycle. Some people every 28 days, some every 30, some every 40 days and some are not consistent. For you to understand, we take an example of a woman that has a period cycle of every 30 days. You start your count on the first day of your period. Your fertility will begin on the 13th day and last until the 18th day. Your peak will be on the 15th day. You can start having an intercourse on the 11th day. Even though on day 11, you are not fertile yet but please bear in mind that the sperm can live in a woman’s body up to 3 days. When the ovulation begins, the sperm is there, ready to fertilize the egg.

So, when is the best time to have sex in order to produce a boy? It is on the first day of your ovulation. The reason is because this is the time when the egg is located very near to the vagina. When sperms are deposited at this time, the boy sperms will definitely be the winner because they will use their speed to reach the egg first and leaving the girl sperms far behind. On the second day onward the egg will move further up and getting harder to be reached. If you have your sexual intercourse on these days, you will be getting a girl.

One way you can test the fertility is by checking the mucus that will come out from woman’s vagina during the ovulation period. You will see something wet and sticky and it feels like gel. It is transparent in color in the beginning of ovulation and turns darker in the next few days. This is a very strong indication that a woman is fertile. When she is fertile she will know and sense it because her ‘mood” to have intercourse is at the peak.
