We hardly ever watch television when the shows are coming on according to network schedules. We have found how to watch them through our pc and take that picture and put it on our television. What you need to do to accomplish this is a vga to tv adapter. I have found and bought one through Aamazon and I am including the link to the right of this passage. I recently watched Men who stare at Goats. I loved it I watched it online and on my television through my computer. I will never go to the movies again I get them all right off my computer it is so awesome

I was watching a movie on my pc monitor and thought why can you not watch this on regular television. I worked on this problem for a very long time and could not figure out for the life of me how to do it.I went to several stores like Best Buy comp usa and several other stores including Radio Shack and Fry Electronincs I even went to circut city before it closed. I searched online for how to connect my pc to my television so I could watch movies and serries that I could get on my computer but was stuck watching them on my small monitor. Basically I was told at one store that they were on commision and if I did not want to buy a television.They really could not be bothered.

I was aslo told several times that I needed a widows extenders and that if I purchases an xbox 360 it would do it for me. Well I did and it will not get what I wanted and you also had to purchase software and having running on your computer to enable it to pick up sites like Hulu. I looked around and did some research and finally found what I needed.I found it at Radio Shack. I also recently found it at Amazon and I have enclosed the items that will bring your television alive with your pc content. You will be your families hero at my house I sure was. My wife got to enjoy all her shows when she wanted to watch them.We also were able to enjoy some really good movies on here. I got to watch some television shows that were on when I was younger.That brings back great memories. Basically with this set up you will be able to watch anything that your pc can show on the computer monitor. Its allowed us to cancel cable we can watch all we could ever dream about online. You can even watch the major league baseball video from its online source. Not to mention the espn 360 programming

There are so many hits when you type pc to tv. Most of them come up with how you can watch television on your pc. That’s not hard to do but a graphics card that offers that.

Please don’t get suckered into those schemes where you suppose to be able to watch cable television on your computer for a fee. Those are not real and even if they worked, you would be stuck watching television on your computer monitor. I have tried several of those services and they frankly don’t work don’t get caught doing what I did.

What I have learned to do is watch streaming video rather that be first run movies or television shows that something came up and you didn’t get to see or record them. Most of the networks offer a way to watch many back episodes on your monitor. The best thing with limited commercial interruption. I have watched major league baseball games on my computer that were sent to my television regardless of blackout rules. That’s awesome . IF you have Comcast, you can watch espn 360 football games but I took it one-step further I watched on my television.

Most of you are in luck many laptops today come with another monitor hook up and you just get an adapter that enables you to plug into your television including hd. I have subscribed to two of those satellite cable television online services and they didn’t work for me at all. The stations that were listed most of them were broken links and the ones that did work were not what they were said to be false advertisement. Whatever you pay its just throwing your money away. You would get far more out of going to the television network websites and watching the shows there after they have appeared online. Another great site to go would be hulu.com.
