What Is Copper Ridge Wine and what winery creates Copper Ridge Wine? It is actually a marketing deal by the E. J. Gallo Wineries that the offer only to restaurants. It is not found very easily in liquor stores, although some have been able to order it through their local store. For others a substitution or locating it online has been the solution.
For those seeking substitutions, Copperridge has been compared to some of the upper end Gallo Wines, however Turning Leaf is not even close as some have commented. I am still doing research on what upper end Gallo wines will compare to Copperridge.
For those that want the original Copperridge, I have found a resource online that will allow you to purchase Coperridge wine and have it shipped directly to your home. Just scroll down to get the link that is listed below.

I was told by the owner of a liquor store that Gallo wine and Copper Ridge wines come out of the same barrel and there is no difference between them. She said some people swear there is a difference but it's all in their heads. My husband loves the Copper Ridge Merlot, so I decided to test her story. I gave my husband a glass of the Gallo Merlot and told him it was Copper Ridge. He was raving about how good it was so I handed him the bottle. He couldn't believe it was not Copper Ridge. What a great gift to give people for the holiday's a case of wine that is difficult to find elsewhere! This is a gift that will stand out in the receiver's mind!
I tried Copperridge Merlot while in Reno - Baldini's Casino was giving it away as a gift. The wine was WONDERFUL and I have been on the hunt to find it ever since. I am so grateful to the person who posted this page along with the link to Wine Legacy - Not only did I get the wine I wanted, Copper Ridge, but I also found an on-line coupon for $10.00 off my order - how great is that? It is easy to purchase Copper Ridge Online. You may be at the mercy of your state's laws if they don't allow you to order wine from out of state. If that is the case, then maybe there may be a distributor that will order it for you if you can find one if you want to buy copperridge wine. They may not carry all of the types of wine however.
