Costa Rica vacations tips. Costa Rica is the place to go on vacations if you want to savor the pleasures of life amidst beautiful surroundings and friendly people. This little country is home to a myriad of natures lush flora and fauna with breathtaking landscapes just waiting to be discovered. Costa Ricans appear to be blessed with a passion for the good things in life and value relaxation as an integral part of a healthy lifestyle.

There is a whole wealth of Nature's diverse flora and fauna here it is home to 5% of the World´s biodiversity. There are a total of 26 national parks and protected area in Costa Rica. There is plenty of great views of the Ocean since the Pacific ocean is on one side of the island and the Caribbean Seas on the other side. The Caribbean side offers lots of relaxing time while the Pacific Ocean is for the young and daring who prefers to ride the waves.

There is so much to do here in Costa Rica. A visitor can look at the rare wildlife species like macaws, leatherback turtles, morpho butterflies, and the Central American squirrel monkey. They offer tours of the rainforest's there and even jungle safaris. You can see for yourself migrating whales, dolphins and sea turtles during specific time.

Head to the northern part if you want to see active volcano - The Arenal is waiting for you! The other two are located midpoint and towards the southern end of the country where there is a hot spring that is being visited by tourists year long. The country is rich in flora and much of the variegated crops are concentrated along the volcano areas, where the lava from past eruptions creates a very conducive spot for plantation. The Costa Rica vacations is a major tourist attraction in this area with millions of people visiting each year, all looking forward to enjoy a sun drenched evening on the beaches of this lovely little country.

The dry season in Costa Rica starts from December all through May which would make your visit pleasant without being caught in thunderstorms. It is only a few miles from the equator, so select the right time to vacation here. Try to stay alert to any possible disasters and do not follow groups you do not know. To make your trip a memorable experience, do your homework thoroughly before you plan a trip to Costa Rica so you know the important details of how long and where you'll be staying at in terms of hotels or resorts.
