Let’s get ready to RUMBLE!!!

Let’s get ready to RUMBLE!!!

According to the Top Rank Promoter Bob Arum, “Miguel Cotto would be the toughest opponent Manny will face in his boxing career.” (I don't think he's sure enough about this statement.)

“No more fun and games,” a stern-faced Roach told reporters at the Shape Up gym.

Yes, Arum and Roach are very much serious with this upcoming fight. Manny and Cotto are great fighters, this is definitely going to be a bloody match.

Manny is on his training on the cold mountains of Baguio before returning to his usual Hollywood gym weeks before his Nov. 14 showdown against Miguel Cotto. While Cotto on the other hand has been on training weeks ahead of time than Manny and still doing his preparation at Tampa Fight Factory Gym, Tampa Florida.

"We are seeing many (Pacquiao's fights on video). We saw the two defeats, but we are seeing more," said Joe Santiago, Cotto's main trainer and long-time assistant trainer.

"Although he has dominated, there is always something he can capitalize. Do not rule out any fight."

"Miguel will see his right hand forward and settling to avoid colliding with the front leg." They're intention is to focus on working with lefties.

Pacquiao VS. Cotto

Pacquiao's Sparmates

Aside from Shawn Porter whom he pummeled in three rounds and Urbano Antillon for two rounds, another sparmate is coming over to help Manny Pacquiao on his training. The undefeated welterweight Omar Henry has already been offered as possible Pacquiao sparmate.

“He (Henry) looks exactly like Cotto, moves like Cotto, fights like Cotto and wants to be like Cotto,” said Alex Ariza (Henry’s Coach)

Manny has revealed his quickness with his hands and feet which often times caught his sparmates off guard. And he still have 5 more weeks to be in shape for the greatest showdown of the Year!

This leak to Cotto’s boxing ability could help him win the match on November 14, 2009 at the MGM grand in Las Vegas. However, Cotto could be a greater opponent than Mayweather, and Manny should take this fight more seriously.

Cotto is undeniably bigger than Pacquiao, he had also beaten bigger opponents, indeed an advantage for him. Inspite of being smaller, Manny is a great fighter, boxing is his life and I believe he won't take this just a usual game.

If you are waiting for a Mayweather - Pacquiao Match, then you must support Pacman this time... Good luck to both gentlemen. We'll see what we have to see on November.
