Save Money Shopping - Free Coupons

Smart Shopping with coupons

Meet Crissy Thompson, she knows the best deals and free coupons that are around. She saves hundreds of dollars by using free grocery coupons and online coupons. Being a stay at home mom of 3 kids, she needed to find a way to cut back on the grocery bills, which are way up there now a days due to the rise in food prices. Her website couponcrissy.com is now under construction.

Following a strategy, of using online coupon and printable coupons Crissy now spends only $10 a week on shopping for groceries. Earlier, It used to be $200 to $250 a week.

Some of her strategies include shopping at the local farmers market.

In stores such as Target, she makes the best use of Extra Care Bucks which are given on specially marked items and she searches for online coupons in websites such as gotadeal.com and hotcouponworld.com

She started clipping coupons, and matching them with sales in the weekly fliers in the grocery stores and drug stores. She buys two copies of the sunday double paper which gives her 4 sets of coupons.

Did you know that most grocery stores, with buy 1 get 1 free coupons, would let you get a 50% off one item ? yeah, that right, you can get one item for half the price, than buy 1 for full price and get 1 free.

Did you also know that a coupon which says “1 coupon per purchase” does not mean you are actually limited to using it only once ?

Most of us would use the Extra Care Bucks the next time we visited the store, or sometimes we forget about it altogether. However, did you know you can use use them the same visit by splitting up your purchase into separate transactions ?

By using free coupon stragegies such as these, Crissy bought approximately $140 worth of merchandise for under $5.

Each one of us can save a lot of money by pre-planning our weekly shopping and making full use of printable grocery coupons and discount coupons.
