65Craziest Tax Deductions that worked
It's that time of the year and it seems that with the use of computerized tax software we can all become very good at what if scenarios. Some of these seem to be the craziest tax deductions that you could ever dream up. In fact some of these deductions might be what dreams are made of. For example big breasts and free beer ! So lets not wait any longer to find out about these crazy deductions that worked, meaning the IRS allowed them !
This one is famous. A stripper going by the name of CHESTY LOVE used her money to increase the size of her breasts, to the size of 56-FF She figured it would get her more tips. And the deduction was allowed, being considered a stage prop essential to her act.
A gas station owner gave out free beer instead of green stamps to customers and a tax court allowed the deduction. I wonder if there was any increase in DUI incidences also. This seems almost as counter productive as giving a mailman whiskey as a Christmas present.
Pets are a usually a no no for tax deductions especially as dependents. However a junk yard owner was able to deduct cat food for cats that kept away various rodents and other unwanted visitors.
So consider that as crazy as a deduction sounds if there is a sound business economic reason for the deduction it may very well be deductible.

Politics of Timothy Geitner News
Obamas nominee for treasury secretary is getting some bad press for not paying some social security and medicare taxes. He may have been better off paying the taxes and taking some of the deductions mentioned above. Of course only if they were legal so Geitner would not be in trouble for underpaying federal income tax. Because even if it is a little nany tax it must be reported and paid.
