63Scrambled eggs with a touch of yummy goodness
When I was growing up, I was taught that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. For most of my childhood, throughout my teen years, and probably until the time I was fully on my own in the military, I didn't eat breakfast every morning. About 9 months ago, I decided to change . I started getting up earlier, which meant getting up at 4 A.M. instead of 5A.M., to make my lunch (which is a huge money saver, if you haven't figured that out yet; I might write more on this in another hub) and make myself a decent breakfast. I have never been a huge fan of eggs; most of the time I need something with them to add some zest, as I think eggs are kind of bland by themselves. One morning, a friend decided to make me breakfast, and I will never complain about s had never heard of such non-sense, but, I told her I would try them. Wow, let me tell ya, she turned me onto something delicious, and it's so quick and easy to make ..incredible! Not knowing how most people make their scrambled eggs, I would assume that most people make their eggs the way I used to do it; digging out a bowl of suitable size, depending on how many eggs you are planning to scramble, crack some shells, maybe add some milk, a little butter, and then whatever veggies if so desired. Then, I would toss them into a preheated frying pan and cook till done. Here is where it get's easier: First take your frying pan out, and start your burner(with the pan on it), reach into the fridge, add a little butter. Then grab your eggs, and cream cheese, and while your at it, probably should grab a spatula as well. Crack your eggs right into the pan, and scramble them in the pan. Once you have a little scramble on, add your cream cheese, I usually do about a tablespoon per 2 eggs and cook your eggs with the cream cheese, as your normally would cook your eggs, stirring to avoid burning, and the cream cheese will smooth out into the eggs. When eggs are done, season with salt/pepper or whatever your taste buds are yearning for. Honestly, you really don't need to add anything else to them. I have made these eggs for others, and they have fallen in love with them as well;even folks that say they can't stand cream cheese have now enjoyed cream cheese with their eggs! Don't be timid!!Give it a shot sometime. I think you will be plesantly surprised at the wonderful creamy taste that cream cheese adds to scrambled eggs!.
