The propensity for men to crossdress (which for this is wearing opposite genders clothing!!) Seems more prevalent since it is more of an affront to the norms here in America, But the truth is that woman crossdress all the time and it goes without notice,remark or fanfare. Not long ago in this very culture we would have admonished the female for wearing pants and she would have been looked at like a threat to the very fabric of society, Woman stay in your place and do what your told(even writing that today in context of this is sure to get some snide remarks and hatemail!!) Fast forward to now and sure RuPaul, Bosom buddies, Benny Hill, Kids In the Hall and all manners of male performers are allowed, accepted and applauded for wearing womans garments!! Now a certain extent of Cding in public is tolerated for the man of today, For example lot's of teens are wearing Girls pants for bmx and skateboarding since the tight material moves with them. Of course men wearing panties under their normal clothes is a very common occurence just ask a cashier about the number of men that bring panties to the register or how many couples even bring panties to the register that are obviously the wrong size for the woman in the relationship!! Halloween of course is the number one holiday for men to dress as woman and really live it up, Dance (with both men and women) Carouse, Go to public places to "get party supplies" And generally enjoy the day that is given to them to express their feminine side in a non homoerotic way, Since for some reason it is okay for the general public to accept it on that one magical night for many cder's!! Try to go to the same bar you went dressed on halloween and everyone didn't bat an eyelash at in tyhe middle of JULY and you will get ostracized and spit back out the door you came in!! Or at least stared and laughed at and for some threats of bodily harm from some meathead who would probably like to be doing the exact same thing but doesn't have the guts to admit it. The history books show the truth of the entire matter look at the garments the Romans, Geeks, The Arab states And you will notice the that the men are wearing clothes that resemble a dress to some degree and it was the norm and it wasn't until pants entered the scene that mens sexual organs had to be pent up and locked away (which is not good for the sperm count) it is really and unnatural thing to have the area covered, There is a certain feeling when you wear a dress or skirt without underwear and it is like freedom and it feels so right, Of course most men who wear skirts are wearing panties since that is part of the getup, But try it sometime wear a long skirt/dress without panties especially on a hott day!!(comment on it when you do please) Of course in the natural world fish can change their sex as well as many other life forms. The males of most species are the more flamboyant and are usually the ones with elaborate plummage, The striking bright colors and patterns, All this could be equated with a brightly colored and boldly patterned outfit worn by a male to female transvestite or drag queen. If you haven't done it you don't know how right it feels to spend time working on your appearence to look the most dazzling and attractive. If more men did try it they would find they liked it and that there are many woman who will talk to them who may normally not even give them a second look since they might think "Uhh ohh here comes another guy that is going to hit on me and try to get in my pants!!" Maybe they think Ohh he is already in my pant/skirt and somehow it is less threatening? I don't know the reason but try it on Halloween or at Fantasy fest where it is another time that dressing in the other genders clothing is allowed and almost expected to be a regular sight!! Check out the FF website and look at the pictures of some of the "girls" even a dress and a full beard which is a total skewing of the gender norms is a common sight!!
