How to increse Click Through Rate (CTR) at your Google Adsense

I was surprised seeing my adsense report CTR just 1.3% yesterday; Meanwhile my CTR has been reached 5%. Certainly it makes my revenue is low.

CTR measures the amount of click your ads with the total visitor.The higher CTR, the better. Some blogger said that they could reach 30% CTR. I think it is difficult. Even a famous blogger could not reach 10% CTR.

To improve my revenue, I need to raise my CTR. I has removed the position of my ads. A Blogger suggest to put ads below the text. Alternatively, you may put vertical ads at the right of your blog post.

Do not put the ads upper the blog post. The visitor might see your ads first than your content but it is not guarantee the visitor will hit your ads. Putting ads at the upper your blog post make your blog bad.

There is no generic formula to raise your CTR. Some blogger just put one adsense in their blog. Of course, you should often experiment in your blog. You may rotate the location or ads shape.

Do not forget the keywords. The keyword make your ads relevant to your text. For example, your content talk about adsense and the ads is about adsense; therefore, the visitor will click your ads.

Make your ads look like not ads. Remove the border of ads. The background or the text should be similar with your website theme and text.

Today, the crisis still go on, The people may reduce their spending. Of course, some visitor avoid click the ads.

What is things make your CTR so low?

1. Irrelevant keywords

The ads different with our content because we are wrong to use keywords.

2. The location of the ads

Some websites put ads at wrong place. For example the ads location is upper the blog post.

3. The ads may be less attractive

We should avoid this reason. Some visitor does not hit commercial link (adsense) because they have no aim to buy anything.

4. The design is bad

Bad ads does not attract any visitor to click it. You should change the design like thr background and text.

5 The language of content is not supported by adsense

Your ads will not be relevant with your adsense

6 The ads is priceless

Sometimes Google punish the blog with public service ads. You will never get any penny even your visitor click the ads million times.
