Time for a Coffee Break?
Drinking coffee does have its perks. Unlike other forms of addiction, coffee must be the only one which comes with a variety of benefits. These benefits just keep on being discovered day by day, only strengthening the worth it has in our lives. It wouldn’t hurt, therefore, to drink a cup of coffee every morning. In fact, it is best that you drink a cup of coffee to start your day. Everything taken in excesses, however, can be dangerous, so when drinking coffee, make sure that you do so in moderation.
Coffee for Mental Enhancement
It has been scientifically proven that, in drinking coffee, you actually increase and stimulate your brain more than two times its normal rate. This can only mean one thing. Coffee can enhance your cognitive skills and abilities. In other words, you only become faster when in comes to thinking - not to mention better. This is exactly why coffee is also good for people who are in the field of advertising and for people who are studying because it will only improve and enhance your mental power when it come to be creative or when you have to concentrate and keep your brain active. Who said that coffee is only good for making you stay up late and not sleepy? More than that, it even improves you brain power.
Coffee as a Combatant against Diseases
The power of coffee is not limited to mental enhancement. After all, these are temporary effects that will wear off soon after the coffee is flushed out of your system. By being a combatant against diseases, coffee seals its long-term benefits. The likelihood of diseases like Parkinson’s disease and diabetes, as have been researched, can actually be lessened through coffee. This only means that, when you grow old, your cognitive skills and brain power will not be lessened as drastically as in normal people who don’t drink coffee.
Coffee as a Phenomenological Experience
The reason why coffee is such a sought after drink is because of the phenomenological experience it can bring to people. This just means that the experience of drinking coffee is not the same for every individual. Some people say that drinking coffee gives them the satisfaction they need. Some say it is helpful as a de-stressor. And then there are some who reckon that coffee is the only way to start their day. In every reason given, one thing rings true - coffee is a personal experience that cannot be defined by mere words.

I love coffee! I have to admit I am a big Starbucks fan (caramel machiatto) but probably one of the best cold coffee drinks I have ever had is from Seattle's Best. Their Javanilla shake is truly fulfilling! Let's talk coffee...
