Curious George Nursery Ideas

The Curious George Nursery is a popular choice amongst parents all over the world. Cute animals make for wonderful baby nursery themes, and a George nursery is fantastic and so much fun.

This engaging cartoon character is shown on television along with a series of books written by Hans Augusto Ray, Margret Ray. The books and cartoons feature a monkey named, George, who is brought home from Africa to live in the big city.

The reason you are here, though, on this website, is to get creative with your  Nursery - so let’s get to it!

So where do we start? This theme is quite hard to get hold of. It generally can’t be found in the local shops or supermarkets. Frankly, I'm surprised that it is not more readily available, given its popularity, but that's the way it is.

Help is at hand, though. Such theme-products can be found Online at auction sites such as EBay, and other Online sites. You will probably have to search hard to find those products, but if this is the nursery theme you want... Then don’t give up. Seek and you will find.

If you can't find the exact replica, get creative, and copy another theme to build your idea bank!

Great Ideas! for a Curious George Nursery

Search for printed-fabric  images, and create your own wonderful pillows, bedspread, and sheets. If sewing is a problem for you, then hire a seamstress, or ask a friend to provide some help. A wide range of Curious George fleecy fabrics, giving you many options to choose from, can also be found.

Are you looking for a mobile but can’t find one? Then look for some monkey prints or cardboard cut-outs, and create your own.

You may get lucky and find a beautiful crib. But if it’s not possible, stick with the monkey theme. You could possibly find a great crib with a jungle-animal theme or some swinging monkeys.

Curious George Nursery wallpaper could also be found with a cartoon jungle theme and placed on one of the walls in your baby’s nursery. Just one wall only, though. It could become overbearing.

Some artificial plants will also suit the Nursery theme. But one must be sure the plants are safe, and that nothing can be pulled off by tiny fingers and placed into your young one's mouth. In fact, it's actually a good idea to ensure that nothing in the nursery can be dangerous in this way.

Shelving and table-tops can also provide positions to place a Monkeys stuffed doll, or dolls, around the room.

Build your collection slowly - and before you know it, your nursery theme will be a wonder to be seen.

Decals can also decorate walls, cupboards, ceiling-fan blades and other surfaces in the nursery.

Remember: Be creative and build it up slowly. Use other jungle items to fit into your baby's theme. Most of all, remember it’s all about the "fun and the feeling created" for you and your loved one. Do it for the love of it, and it will love you back.

After your baby reaches the toddler stage this  Nursery theme can be gradually rearranged to suit both your child and you. And change, of course, always creates interest.

These images can be found online and used in ways to make, for example, small coloring and picture books. Being creative is the key.

George Nursery items are sought after. People want them. So after your child has outgrown these wonderful toys and mobiles, sell them at an auction site such as EBay. Then put the money towards new toys or educational games. The more educational toys you can provide, the more stimulus towards learning you child will receive.
