.

One of the very interesting places to visit, is city Damanhur in Italy. Damanhur is eco-village, spiritual community - and extremely beautiful architectural and artistic center where members of the community built gorgeous underground tempels for meditation.

Here I will not discuss details of spiritual beliefs, they are exploring all spiritual paths and religions as well as they find their own ways to express divinity. They are very practical and completely self-sustainable, and actively explore various types of eco- life - while living in complete harmony with nature. You can check that part of story on http://damanhur.org , but here I just want to share their beautiful idea about creating the world of beauty and eco-responsibility with highest level of love for planet Earth.

There are the following underground temples (Temples of Humankind) which have various purposes to awake spiritual forces inside people who live there or visit Damanhur:

The Water Hall, the Earth Hall, the Hall of Spheres, the Hall of Mirrors, the Metal Hall, the Blue Temple and the Labyrinth.

"The Temples of Humankind are an underground work of art, created entirely by hand and dedicated to the divine nature of humanity. It is a great three dimensional book which recounts the history of Humankind through all the art forms, a path of re-awakening to the Divine inside and outside of ourselves.
In the Temples, every aspect has a meaning: the colours, the measurements and every detail follow a precise code of forms and proportions; every Hall has its specific resonance and its own sound."

I am still planning to visit Damanhur but for years I am very amazed with their work and the way how they explore all aspects of human life and materialize their ideas, inspite of a lot of challenges they met when they circa 30y ago started to build their community.

As you can see on the photos, temples are - real masterwork!

Magnificent! There is a lot of mystical power in this artwork! I can see semblances of Egyptian influences and perhaps even Japanese. This is the first I'm learning of this, Tatjana-Mihaela. Did you take these photographs? My guess is that you did...Awesome.

I still have not visited Damanhur, just planning to ( so photos are not mine, they are taken from their official site)... I am waiting because I did not want to go to Damanhur as a part of the group, I plan to visit them individually (my bf and me).

You can actually feel the energy while just looking the photos... These underground temples are known as 8th miracle of the world...

Thank you, Dohn, for the visit and comment, I am glad I was able to share this with you.
