Search deep into the web to unearth dark secrets of your friends, or foes.  With Social Websites mushrooming, large chunk of information on person is made available easily.   Earlier, I used to search for people using the same web search engines, like Google or Yahoo.  In a way, I am just searching 1% of the web!  According to techdeepweb.com, surface searching is, like using Google or Yahoo or any such search engine covers only 1% of Internet data.  In fact 99% of data is hidden under deep web or hidden web.

The deep web contains 99% of web information deep inside the databases of respective websites. They are only searchable through query sitting inside that specific website. This information is not index by the search engines in general. Never take it granted that the size of the web is not equal what google crawals! It is much, much bigger!

Access to this deep web information will open a bit with further advancement of the technology. Till such time, it is difficult to do a real deep web search to all the dark secrets of your friends or foes or relatives.

The first one is pipl.com. It is simple yet powerful search engine which digs data from databases. When I made search on an email, to my horror, it return a link that downloaded a Microsoft Excel sheet containing complete home addresses, mobile nos., residence landline nos. & email ID of about 7000 persons. Later I discovered that it was list of subscribers of a popular magazine (published in India). The link also led me to an IP address, which have lots and lots of documents of that particular magazine.

Through Pipl.com, you can search, using mobile no., email, user name, or first-second names. It indeed throw same data that might be of your interest.

In deep web search category, Spokeo, returns online footprints of the contacts by searching the address book of user. This is only search engine which searches the address book. Spokeo performs searches inside 40 plus social network websites to find data. Spokeo covers almost all the social network sites, such as Facebook, Digg, Flickr, Hi5, Last.fm Blogger, YouTube, Photobucket, webshots, Windows Live Spaces etc.

Through ZoomInfo you can search information of a person or a company. Also it has people’s directory, like you can drill down all Scientists professionals.

Wink is another people search website that pulls data from social network sites such as FaceBook, MySpace and even IMDB, if you have registered there!  You can search email address, Phone numbers etc.

ZabaSearch is created by founder of the USSEARCH.COM.  ZabaSearch returns telephone numbers and addresses for free.  In is USA people search, containing data far greater than White Pages Phone Directory.

PeekYou is one of my favorites after pipl.com.  It give you lot of information about the person you are searching for.  PeekYou will find any websites that you are associated with.  Or it will plow the information from most social network site.

While searching for an old friend, it returned a link to a 47-pages MS Word document containing her name in a large list IT associate related to some research.
