I have some more designs over at my Cafepress store, often drawn in the comic book style of choice, but a choice I value as my own!

I don't know exactly how long I have been interested in drawing comic book type art but it's been awhile I know that, inspired by the comics even today I pick up the odd issue of spiderman or other comics of the current trend.

I tend to buy more horror themed comics now as that's where my art is based and I love horror films too so that heavily inspires my own stories of which I am still working on every chance that I get.

Drawing demons is usually fun for me as I have piles of sketchbooks full of them and tattoo flash sheets I have created to sell on Ebay and other auction sites, drawing nasty creatures of nightmares is what I often get lost in and I darw worlds for the demons to live in and then other characters to interact with and the stories just happen, it's like a brainstorming session but with drawing and writing combined.

I will be adding more drawings to a few of my hubs if they are relevant to the themed title of the hub and just build on that and plus I am slowly working on a hub that will show the planning stages of my own graphic novel (well one of them anyway!)

When drawing a demon I loosely draw the outline of the head and body with the lightest pencil possible just to get a rough outline of the initial shape of the creature and the way it could look ( note I said could - Well things can change in a drawing!)

Typically I change the drawing to suit whatever I have imagined previously in my small thumbnail sketches which are the even rougher drawings that I produce on any type of paper just to jot down my ideas.

You may want to create a profile head sketch and a full body sketch on an a4 size piece of paper and file it away for future refernce, this helps me especiall y as I create that many characters, I then write small notes on the intended color scheme and maybe a small character history or back story if appropriate.
