Designer Crib Bedding

Yes, it is true. Even your baby, from the earliest age, can be living in the lap of luxury, sleeping atop designer crib bedding. But what does that actually look like? What constitutes designer bedding for cribs? If you've only ever been aware of the inexpensive, normal bedding options at your local department store of baby depo, you are certainly in for a surprise. For designer crib bedding for that special baby of yours is a world of fascinating excitement and expensive discovery like you've never seen before.

Most crib bedding is made out of cotton or other lightweight fabrics that are easy to clean and breathable. The colors of light and pale, and the designs are simple and usually quite cute. When you envision crib bedding, you probably think of pastel blues, greens, pinks, or yellows decorated with rubber duckies, teddy bears, or animals from Noah's ark. However, designer crib bedding is entirely different matter. Think silk, lace, rich colors, and beautiful fabric that you'd probably cry over if your child spit up on it. Bumpers and blankets, pillows and sheets made in the most luxurious designs you've ever seen. This bedding could possible compare to something you might see in a high-end hotel, and it can be for your baby's crib.

For the little girls, imagine bedding with beautiful flowers, scrolls, and stripes. The hot colors on the market today are deep pinks and chocolate browns, sage greens, royal purples, and even rich reds. Silk and ribbon line the edge of elegantly designed blankets and pillows, wall hangings, curtains, and crib ruffles. For the boys, light blue and all shades of green are still in the mix, and popular designs include symmetrical blocks and stripes, dots, and monograms.

Along with the bedding pieces you'd typical find such as bumpers, crib sheets, and blankets, designer crib bedding sets often include several other options. These astonishing bedding sets may contain matching curtains, wall hangings, mobiles, diaper bags, lamp shades, wall storage hangers, and crib canopies, to name but a few of the many accessories.

Now after hearing all the wonderful things about designer crib bedding, you're probably wondering what something like this could possibly cost you. If you're looking to spend under $100, you're likely to be very disappointed. Think more along the lines of purchasing a new laptop or a new wardrobe. Some of the cheaper designer sets were in the range of $150-$250, but many of the sets were as expensive as $600-$900.

And think, you're going to have a baby sleeping in this, so be sure you can wash it! No matter what though, your baby will be sleeping in luxury akin to a five-star hotel and perhaps even nicer than your own bed. This child is a lucky little one!
