The Disney Channel Scavenger Hunt Sweepstakes recently kicked off on Disney Channel! For this cool new contest, contestants will need to find particular scavenger list items every night starting Sunday July 12th, through Friday July 17th 2009. They will be able to answer special questions and record their items online, and find out more info when the Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana show premiers!

Disney Channel contests rarely disappoint! One grand prize winner will receive 3 Wizard Wands, an Anklet from Hannah Montana and a S.S. Tipton Life Preserver! The grand prize winner will be randomly drawn and announced on August 19th, 2009!

For this cruise scavenger hunt, you'll have to watch sneak peeks of the Disney channel shows, Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana every night on Disney Channel, starting July 12th, 2009 (Sunday). Watch it every day of the week at 8 PM EST. The big premier of the show on Friday July 17th will give you more information on how to win the contest. You'll have to watch to see how the scavenger lists of items are used to complete the game on DisneyChannel.com/ScavengerSweepstakes.

Each day, participants in the Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana sweepstakes will answer questions and record items from the scavenger list. Once everything from the sweepstakes list has been found, you can enter to win the great Disney scavenger hunt prizes!  There's even a special cruise which will feature Zack & Cody as well as Hannah Montana, which you could get on board for!

The Disney Scavenger contest is open to contestants age 6 to 16 years old. The Sweepstakes starts 6:00 PM (PT) on 7/17/09 and ends 11:59:59 PM (PT) on 7/20/09. There is no purchase necessary to enter this contest.

Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana will have a special three-part 90 minute crossover on the shows Wizards of Waverly Place, The Suite Life on Deck and Hannah Montana.  The first commercial for the show aired on June 12, 2009 on Disney Channel.  The crossover special has featured guest stars Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus and Emily Osment in its episodes.

Part 1 of the series is entitled "Cast-Away" (To Another Show) and is from Wizards of Waverly Place.  Part 2 is "Double Crossed" from The Suite Life on Deck, and Part 3 is "Super(Stitious) Girl" and is from Hanna Montana.

The special will be released by Disney DVD on September 22, 2009 and include cast bloopers as well as behind the scenes footage.

The Disney Channel launched on April 18, 1983 and is owned by The Walt Disney Company. The network is part of the ABC/Disney networks with its headquarters locate in Burbank, CA. Disney began broadcasting its programs in high-definition on March 19, 2008. Original programs on the channel back in 83' included Mickey Mouse Club and Good Morning Mickey!

Disney Channel is of course the channel which launched the highly successful High School Musical movies, as well as the hit shows "Suite Life of Zack and Cody", "Hannah Montana" and "Wizards of Waverly Place". Disney currently airs two original cartoons as well, The Replacements and Phineas and Ferb.

The Disney Channel Hannah Montana Show launched in 2006 and has been one of its biggest hits ever since. The series starring Miley Cyrus has led to major merchandise sales, concert tours and movies. Now they have combined the popular Disney Channel wizards with Hannah Montana.
