diy longboard

This is the longboard i made. The board itself took only about a half an hour. It was very simple. I used a shelf from an old bookcase for the deck, for the trucks i took them from an old skateboard laying around but i had to go out and buy the wheels and bearings.

Start off by stenciling the desired shape on to the wood. Try and get both sides as equal as possible.

Then I used a jigsaw to cut it out.

After that I sanded down the sides with a sander and file.

Last i found the center of the board and drilled in the holes for the trucks. Then I put it all together. Bellow is the finished product.
