Quality DJ Equipment on a Budget

Nowadays, there are lot of choice on dj gear and equipment. Sadly, most of us are on a tight budget and can harly spare much to get the dj equipment we truly desire. Fortunately there are some dj gears out there that are not as expensive as their counterparts but can actually be a good bye or a diamond in the rough.

OLD SCHOOL OR NEW SCHOOL?

Personally, I started mixing with a pair of Technics 1200MKII's, a Pioneer DJM-500 and a pair of Pioneer CDJ-500's. It wasn't mine though and I really didn't feel the effect of spending for gears. But now that I've matured, gotten married and have three kids, it's turned into a different story. No more gears because the kids need milk, food, shelter, clothing.... oh, and enrollment is just around the corner. With these issues in mind, I've started thinking of going digital. Like those laptop setups with a controller. It can be a budget conscious dj's dream come true to just have a controller and a laptop. It's light on the budget and fairly easy to bring along. No more cd bags and vinyl cases, woohoo! A good example of this is the Behringer BCD 2000 and their new Behringer BCD 3000. Just install the included software, although Virtual DJ is better to use and plug it into your computer's USB port and you're good to go.

How much easier can it get? Other notable controllers are from M-audio, Rane and Stanton. What are you waiting for? Go and get one at pocket friendly prices and start being the the Dj you've always wanted!
