The Key To Your Success is Just Persistence

I have been a success coach for over 20 years and the one common thing I hear from the people I coach is that some of the people around them don’t support their dreams. Well, I want to let you know that I went through the same thing. I remember when I was a teenager my friends use to tease me about my dreams. I am here to tell you that the key to success is to put your dreams and goals in your heart.

I hear a lot that you need to make your WHY big. That is very true but we all have a Why. You can ask anyone what their WHY is and they will tell you. But I am here to tell you that unless you put that WHY in your heart you will not succeed.

GOD has given us all talents and gifts. You need to find what it is and just DO IT. I am a firm believer that what ever the mind can conceive one can achieve. Find your gift or talent and just go for it.

The biggest problem why people don’t go after their dreams is FEAR. FALSE EVIDENCE THAT APEARS REAL. That is what Fear is. I know that is easy for me to say, just read a few autobiographies and you will find people just like you.

I am from a small town in Cape Cod and I believe that if I can do it anyone can. I remember my friends use to tease me about my goals. I was lucky to have parents that supported me. My fathers told me never give up on your dreams. He also told me that when I graduated from High School he wants me to leave the Cape. Well, I did. I wanted to go to college and not pay for it. I got a football scholarship and had a few tryouts in pro football and played semi-pro for a while. After football I wanted to be a high fashion model. You could imagine what people teased me about then. Even my father was not too happy about me becoming a model but he did support me. When he saw the big checks coming and me traveling all around the world he changed his mind about me modeling. I modeled all over the world and after 10 years in modeling I traveled around the world again but this time scouting for models. I even wrote a book.

When I put modeling in my heart I moved to New York City. NYC is the capital of the modeling industry. I researched all I could about the modeling industry and put my plan together. I went to all the major agencies first and everyone turned me down. Finally I found a small agency to take me on. I set a goal to go on 25 appointments a week, which I made myself. It took me 11 ½ months to get my 1^st job. That meant I went on over 1.000 interviews before I got my first job. Over 1, 000 NOs. I often think that if I stopped at 999 I would not be doing this today. Every no get you closer to a yes. I found my market and modeled for major agencies around the word.

After my modeling days I then travel all over the US doing my success training. I am now a network marketing coach and I enjoy doing this. It is in my heart. I believe network marketing is the perfect business. My goal now is to help the masses. When you find something that can help the masses you then can achieve all your goals.

We are in big trouble today and I truly believe that network marketing is a great business to be in. I hear all the negativity about network marketing. I have met a lot of people that are very successful in this business. I don’t listen to broke and un-successful people. I try my best to be around positive and successful people. I am a firm believe if you want to be successful be around successful people. They all leave clues. There is a good chance that if you talk with people that complain a lot they are broke.

Don’t give up on your dreams. A lot about success is also about persistence. I compare it to chopping down a big tree with a small axe. Every chip you take off that tree gets you further to that tree falling down. Remember, your dream could be just around the corner.

My advice to you is to put your plan together, write down your goals, be around positive people, change the way you think and never give up if you feel that you can do it. By going after your goals you will find what your talent and gift is. God gave it to you but you need to look and you will find what it is. It just might not be what you thought it was but you will succeed. It is called FAITH. Stick to your goals. The only thing stopping you is yourself. I am also the kind of guy when someone tells me that I can’t do it, I try even harder.

It also does not matter how old you are. Find what you love to do and put it in your heart.
