Scientifically, it's impossible. There are no such thing as shooting stars. They are asteroids.

But psychologically, probably. It is because in the mind of a person who wishes on a wishing star, his/ her wish might come true.

The theory of ATTRACTION could be applied here. [like in the Secret] .. If you really put your mind and body to your wish, it might as well come true.

the force that pulls you to your intention will MOTIVATE you to work harder and strive for survival stronger.
