Average Draft Ranking of Players from Expert Mock Drafts Around the Web

What?

Draft Guru has built a mother of all fantasy football drafts by combining all the expert fantasy mock drafts from ESPN, Sports Line, Sports Illustrated, NFL advisers, and so on. This draft gives players position by taking their position from all the other drafts and then averaging it out.

Why?

Every mock draft writer has their own philosophy and reasoning behind why they selected certain player at certain position. I believe collective opinion of all of them on certain player is more valuable then individual opinion.

Result in Table Below

Hence, I built this draft through painful analysis, research, and excel work. In my view, my work would be valuable if lot of people can benefit from it, so check it out below.

  • Bennett excited to play for Martz

According to the official team Web site, Bears WR Earl Bennett is excited about playing for new offensive coordinator Mike Martz. "He's a mastermind offensive coach who's going to spread the ball around and wants to take us to that next level," Bennett said. "I'm ready to work hard for him." Bennett, who is entering his third season in the NFL, which is typically a breakout year for wide receivers, had 54 receptions for 717 yards and two touchdowns in 2009 after not catching any passes in limited action as a rookie. Bennett is eager to play for Martz, who operated one of the most potent passing attacks in NFL history as an offensive coordinator and head coach with the Rams from 1999-2005. "As a receiver, you've got to be excited," Bennett said. "You've got to stay dialed in and get ready for his playbook and just get ready to eat it up." - 8 hours ago

  • Be wary. Be very wary.

Owners counting on Peyton Manning, Joseph Addai and Reggie Wayne should be very concerned about their star players this week. Indy has already secured the No. 2 seed in the AFC, rendering their remaining regular season schedule meaningless. Tony Dungy has already said he will play his starters "as he normally would," but take that with a grain of salt. This is the same coach that pulled his starters after their first 3rd quarter drive two weeks ago, once they had built a 44-7 lead. Dungy understands the importance of protecting the crown jewels. Why would he risk everything by playing his studs beyond the first half of Sunday's game against the Texans? If you have good options, I strongly suggest you consider them over the aforementioned stars. As for Anthony Gonzalez, start him with confidence. He's unlikely to be pulled early, and has been the go-to receiver for two straight weeks. Kenton Keith is also a sneaky play at RB. - 2 years ago

  • Midweek injury updates and other news you can use

Jeff Garcia has sufficiently recovered from his sore back – or perhaps Jon Gruden has decided he can’t put his team’s playoff fate in Luke McCown’s hands any longer – so look for the starter back under center against the Falcons. Garcia is only a marginal fantasy play this week, but this is very good news for Joey Galloway’s owners, who haven’t celebrated a scoring play from him since the last time the Bucs played Atlanta, in Week 11. Don’t look now, but here comes Kyle Orton to save the Bears’ season. With a 10-5 record on his resume from the 2005 season, that’s actually not out of the question. But don’t even think about using him as a fantasy passer. He’s only thrown as many as two touchdowns in a game once – against this week’s rival, Minnesota, coincidentally. In that same "career game" he managed just 117 passing yards and an interception. - 2 years ago
