If your license has been suspended for DUI or DWI don't make it worse by driving under suspension .
Never drink and drive .
Once you have hopefully dealt with your DUI ,never drink and drive
again . Get a taxi , some clubs will even help pay for it . Have a
friend come get you . Walk . Do anything but drive. Find the best DUI
lawyer in your area. DUI attorneys are well worth every cent you pay.
Go to any classes they suggest, it could reduce your penalties or
possibly reduce your DUI auto insurance rates. Do as much research into
DUI laws as possible for your area . Some DUI charges are misdemeanors
and some are DUI felony. Second DUI and third DUI charges increase your
problems dramatically!
DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE after a DUI it could lead to jail time .

dui is very serious. i have a friend facing 8 years in prison because he just don't listen about not driving without a license. which he lost for driving under the influence. so people are more stubborn than others, but want to cry when they have to do the hard time.

I was suprised at some insurence agencies policies when you get a dui. A friend of mine, his did not go up at all. Of course, he was not in an accident. His 30 day tag got wet in the rain and came loose on one side and was hanging. In Ks you have to get paper work done within 10 days or you will automatically loose you dl for 1 year. I am against drunk driving for many reasons, but it's just a revenu stream for a lot of people. You can get a 2 year certificate in Drug and Alcohol counseling and run the dui classes. In Kansas you make about 50 dollars per client.
