I was told I made an error in posting these certain Hubs (spirit of) in a paganism and witchcraft area?
I believe that you have made an error by posting a highly christian hub in the pagan area. You would recieve a better welcome by posting these types of hubs in the christian area.

Thank you It's just me for stopping by!! I posted this in paganism & wicthcraft for this reason. Many people even Christians have problems, troubles and afflictions because they have not dealt with generational curses. Generational curses keep people from being able to hear God or His true prophets. We have to ask God to break any generation curses and ask forgiveness for any sins which their relatives have committed. Yes it might get a better response, but I am trying to reach the unsave as well. They need to know the TRUTH! Because my Hubs are mostly Christian based, Christian will come to my Hub anyway and then will see my different blogs that may interest them. But an unsaved person might not. So if they are dealing with these different generational (curses) spirits and get drawned into visiting the paganism & witchcraft Hubs, I feel I have a better chance in ministering to them. At least plant a seed. Even if they get mad, I have done the work of the Lord. Thank you so much for your concern and Blessings to you!!! Ok, lets begin.
We have already noted what happened to Lucifer. He became filled with pride and boasted, "I will eb like the most High" Isaiah 14:14. It is not possible to fall any farther than he did; from the most beautiful creation of God to the very pit of Hell.
The spirit of haughtiness would like to keep us from becoming the creation God wants to make of us; namely, the best possible person we can possibly be. And we only realize that objective to the extent that we open ourselves to God and say, "I'm yours, God, mold me make me into the person You want me to be."
The popular song, "I DID IT MY WAY," is the theme song of the self made, proud, haughty man of the world. When you ask him how he became what he is today, his first word is invariably, "I." This over-exaggerated opinion of himself causes him to believe he does not need the guidance and strength of God. That is dangerous because it opens him up to the operation of a haughty spirit.
The deception in a case like this is that such a person APPEARS to be successful. But when you dig down below the outward glitter there is usually an alcohol, drug or health problem, a string of broken marriages and an extremely unhappy, lonely person whose children consider him to be an ogre. Why? Because there is no TRUE success apart from doing the Will Of God.
"By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honor, and life" Proverbs 22:24. Jesus said, "For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted" Luke 14:11. "Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud" Proverbs 16:19.
Humility is not always easy to define. We jokingly refer to the fellow who wrote the book on humility and he attained it. Or that someone has a "gift of humility" because they are constantly humiliating everyone around them. True humility is recognizing that, "all our righteousness are as filthy rags;" and that we can do nothing without the help and direction of God in our life. Isaiah 64:6.
Any variance from this divine principle will bring the haughty strongman's influence into our life to the degree that we think we are capable of running our life apart from God. The haughty spirit attempts to rob us of God's best for our life. We recognize him either in our own life or in the lives of others when we encounter the following symptoms: pride, arrogance, contentiousness, scornful anger, abstinence, stubbornness, rebellion and boastfulness.
Here are some Scriptures that speak of these things!
"Only by pride commeth contention: but with the well advised is wisdom" Proverbs 13:10.
"The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day" Isaiah 2:11.
"Proud and haughty scorner in his name, who dealeth in proud wrath" Proverbs 21:24.
"For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry" I Samuel 15:23.
"These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto Him: A proud look.." Proverbs 6:16,17.
"Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fullness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me; therefore I took them away as I saw good" Ezekiel 16:49,50.
When we see these things in our lives, obstructing spiritual progress or trying to take over, we must immediately take the necessary measures to get them out of our life.
JAMES ADVICE: James gives some helpful advice when he says, "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up" James 4;10. Note that the subject is understood here, "YOU humble yourselves.." We are the catalyst in this process. We amke up our mind and will to humbly accept God's Will for our lives and then walk in that Will, recognizing that only God can make us into something useful for Him.
We begin by asking God's Forgiveness. "Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I see that I have not allowed You to reign supreme in my life. Forgive me for this terrible sin. I humbly bow before You with a contrite spirit and ask that You make something beautiful out of my life."
"Satan, in the Name of Jesus I bind your haughty spirit according to Matthew 18:18 that states, Whosoever ye shall bind on earth shall bound in heaven:' I recognize you for what you are, a thief and a robber! I refuse to allow you to lead me away from God's Will for my life."
If you haven't accepted Christ as your Savior simply say in an audible voice, in all sincerity from the depths of your heart, "Lord Jesus Christ, forgive me of my sins and accept me as Your child. I accept You as my personal Savior and I promise to follow the instructions of Your Word from this day on. If I fail because I am human, please help pick me up so I can try again! Thank you, Jesus, for saving me from all my sins. AMEN."

MY GIRL!!! You know I got your back in prayer!!!!! I think many struggle with NO tolerance for what appears to be pride. We just have to remember what Christ has done for us in hopes that He will manifest in that individuals life as well if that individual is seeking the True God. I remember when I would get upset because my clients wouldn't stop doing drugs when one day the Holy Spirit shook me and said remember yourself? WOW!! After that, I have not been the same toward any one struggling!!!! lol, lol Thank you so much Judah's Daughter for stopping by and giving your powerful comment as always!!!!! Much love for you!!!
Praise God! I love you so much ~ you are a blessing!
Pride is such an insideous thing. It seeps into things we do or say and we don't even realize it sometimes. Other times it is so natural to us that we do realize it and God has to shake us and say "This may feel right but it is pride." Pride is taught and preached to us everyday in all media. "Do this because you deserve it!" We saw our parents be proud and sin and we probably never saw the price they paid for that sin. We all pay a price for our pride. I myself have told my friends and my wife and my sister, "I'm proud of you." What I meant was how blessed and edified I am because of knowing them and seeing their life and what God has done with it. But pride is so engrained into us that we think it belongs there. I hope my pride never hurts those I love. I pray my pride can be replaced by humility so that I can be a strength to you and all my family. I love you Lotta.
Your a Blessing in my life as well! I am so glad I followed the Holy Spirit and came to Hubpages! YES! I have a family here! Your my sis! I LOVE YOU!!!!!
It sounds to me that your humble! Your honesty, I love! You blesses me so much that I feel a bond with you! As I told Judah's Daughter you guys are my family, you give me strength whether you know it or not. When we read each other Hubs we get filled with the Holy Spirit and blessed. God is working throught us to stengthen each other!! Do you feel this? Praise Him!!! And by the way you pride has been replaced by humility, right now In the Name of Jesus! And you are a strength to me and your family!!!! AMEN! Love you no body.
This is a wonderful hub and well-placed in this section. I also enjoyed these comments. Indeed, the I-god must be dealt with.
Thank you for including that wonderful prayer of repentance and teaching the practical application of binding that strong man! Well done indeed!
We don't hear many sermons or teachings like this at all in church because many leaders fear man rather than God.
May God Continue To Bless You, Dear Sister!
Thank you for explaining that you post here in order to prosylatize to your fallen sheep, and thank you for your blessings. I wish you luck in your endevour.
Lots of scriptures in there but a very important message. God resists the proud but looking deeply, even humans resist the proud. I don't get on with proud people. lol.
Having said that pride can manifest in subtle ways in our lives as Christians. Example if a young christian is advicing or telling an older christian what to do - with a good heart. The older one thinks "who does he think he is, to give me advise"? lol.
His Grace Abounds.
Best Wishes
I agree with Lady_E
It's a huge mistake for an older person to think they can't learn something from a younger person. It is not a threat to the older one's 'status' but could be something of great value.
Truth of the matter is, we don't know what we don't know...
And since God used a donkey to talk to a prophet one day in order to correct that prophet and deal with his arrogance, it just goes to show how silly and counter-productive haughtiness really is!
Blessings To You Always
Haughtiness has no place in the Kingdom of God or in the life of Christians. We can learn not only from the young but from the hurting, the grieved, the alcoholic, the addict, the homeless and so forth. We can learn from all if we choose to listen. But, as was stated above, haughtiness prevents some from learning due to their own pride. It is sad, because they are in sense, stunning their own growth. Henri Nouwen, chronicles in his last book before his death, the great spiritual and profound learning experience he shared with a particular mentally ill patient where he worked for a time. We never know whom God will use to meet our deepest need as we walk the path set before us. Great hub!
Thank you thefount for stopping by and encouraging me. I am on a mission from God to SPREAD THE TRUTH and I am afraid of God, NOT MAN! I will teach and preach the truth. There's alot of hungry people out here that are searching for the TRUTH! Blessings my friend, your always in my prayers!
It's just me, I wouldn't quite put it as prosylatize! I am not trying to convert anyone but to expose the enemy and FREE the people of God. I am doing the work of my Lord and loving it, and nothing will stop me. I know I will get those who don't agree and that's alright with me. If they only knew what they were missing in their lives as I have experienced, they would understand. I'm only here to plant a seed, God gets all the Glory! I do not have fallen sheeps, God does. I'm just the messenger.
YES! Lady_E, I agree with you! It's always a pleasure when you visit! Thank you and Blessings!
YES! thefount, you broke in down quite well!! I couldn't of said this any better!! lol, lol, Thanks again for stopping by! Much love to you!
RevLady you stole my heart when you said, We can learn not only from the young but from the hurting, the grieved, the alcoholic, the addict, the homeless and so forth. I dear with these special people everyday, and I have learned more and more in order to help others. I listen to them to receive info that may help another! It has made my minsitry
Pride is a silent killer. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you MACACH for your comment. I claim the same. I am nothing without Jesus but everything with Him!!!! Praise Him!!! YES! Love you!
I got your message and came by to see you. I still don't have my computer up. Loved your article. I've prayed for God to take the beam or tree out of my eye, but it never occured to me to ask for forgiveness of generational curses. Thank you for your insite and wisdom. I miss you too. God loves you and so do I.
Your such a wonderful person, SO REAL! I am blessed that you came even though your computer is not up! You did not let the enemy still what God has for you in my Hub!!! Praise God!!! Love you! I'm praying for your computer!!!!!!!!!!! And you TOO!!!!!
Pride is so sneaky. It is a "root" sin because out of it so much else can spring forth. I just read today a quote by Oswald Chambers-- Success can be a greater test than adversity. "Not every man can carry a full cup. Sudden elevation frequently leads to pride and a fall. The most exacting test of all to survive is prosperity." That is so very true--look at so many who have fallen from prosperity, even in Christianity.
Thank you bayaregreatthing for stopping by! It's always nice to receive your comments!! Much love!

Wow ~ so much to think about. It's really easy to recognize pride in others, but to examine one's own heart (like mine) for this sin is quite strenuous. I'm struggling right now because I don't have tolerance for what appears to be pride in others, but does that not make me proud also? I really need your prayers.
I also can relate to posting hubs in the "secular" categories on HubPages. If light only stayed with light, it would never be used to shine in the dark places. Praise God! Yes, Christians will find your hubs based on title or key words (or because they are fans). Keep on shining His light ~ in spite of ourselves, we are vessels of the Light!
