81You might dismiss the idea of making money online as an impossible task. If you think making money blogging is tough, then actually it is. That fact explains why millions (or can I even say billions) of bloggers do not make money even if they try hard. Yet, bloggers are making money - they are not professionals - house wives, baby sitting moms in their spare time and most part-time students and workers. How do they make money? Because, they know the tools and methods to make money. I am going to teach them here for you.
If you are a newbie to the blogging world, or considering to start a blog to make money - you have come to the right place. [P.S: If you want to know what is a blog then proceed to How to Start a Blog: Guide for Grandma®.] Because, right now (with the help of my successful blogger friend), I am going to teach you how to earn at least $500 a month by blogging..yes, just blogging. It is not a quick-rich scheme or a cash flow machine system - so, it depends on your performance for the initial few weeks.
Are you strong enough to cross the initial dry periods to enjoy all the fruits of your labour later? Here we go, the secret of making money with blogs.

Already own a blog? You are lucky!
If you own a blog (whatever the subject could be), then you are really lucky. You do not need to start from the scratch. Ideally, your blog should be at least 3 months old, appear in Google results and have at least few visitors a day.
I am going to introduce to a new program called Linkworth - that will help you to make the money from blogging. Linkworth is an agency that connects advertisers and bloggers. Advertisers are constantly looking for websites, blogs and online pages to advertise and blogs offer a great medium for advertising. Advertisers pay as much as $100 to $200 a month. Let us be conservative in our estimates, and for a decent blog advertisers would pay $30 a month to place their ads on the blog. Bloggers can make money by renting their sidebar (or on specific page) for showing text ads.
These ads are unobtrusive and text link ads and you must approve every ad before it appears on your blog's sidebar. So, no nonsense ads / text links will appear on your blog without your knowledge.
Advertisers pay the money to linkworth at the end of every month and half of the money will be paid to you in your account. So, if advertisers pay $100 to linkworth, you will get paid 50% of it, that is $50. Easy, isn't it?
Signing up for Linkworth
First, we need to determine how much your blog is worth. So, visit http://www.linkworth.com/tools/linkquote.php and type in your blog's address (for example, yourblog.blogspot.com in the 'website url' form and also type in the 'validation code'. When you click on "Get LinkQuote", the next page should give you all the analysed results of your blog, and your suggestive prices for ad space on your blog will be listed.
Based on Google, Yahoo and MSn links, Alexa ranks and traffic, your blog's worth will be determined and how much you should you charge your advertisers will be displayed as shown in the Picture 2 clearly for every advertising option. Usually, the price would range from $20 to $70 per month for showing a single text link ad. So, if you offer 10 link spaces on your blog for advertisements, then you could earn easily $100 to $350 a month.
Next, visit http://www.linkworth.com/signup.php and sign up for a combo account (buyer as well as advertiser) and linkworth will ask you to enter a referral id, so, use 8648 as the referral id (see Picture 3 below). Advertiser will be sufficient to earn money from your blog by renting ad space from your blog. But, as a buyer, you can advertise your blog on other's blogs for minimum amount (as low as $10 a month). This is why I asked you to sign up for a combo account - all are free, so, nothing to loose.

After you signup
Have you signed up to Linkworth? Good. Because, Linkworth is the best program for selling your ad space on a market and linkworth offers 50% of commission (many other programs offer as little as 20% only) to you.
Once you sign up and submit a blog for approval, you will get a notification of acceptance within few days. Then, advertisers will contact you to offer text link ads. The ads will be queued up for you to approve, once you approve ads, then you can copy and paste the html code on your blog sidebar. That's pretty much it - at the end of the month, your money will be paid to either Paypal account or sent to you by a Cheque.
Are you worried if Google or other search engine will penalise your blog rank for selling text links? Fear no more. Because, while listing your blog itself, you can specify that you are opting for a "rel=no-follow" tag for every text link ads. By the way, you can earn money without worrying about search engine penalisation.
What if you don't want to sell text link ads? There are are plenty of options with linkworth that are listed and you can choose appropriate advertising options. When you have two or three good blogs, you can set up a revenue stream of at least $500 or more from blogs.

Im slowing getting to grips with making money online, I agree, adsense does seem slow, It would be ok if you had 100+ sites up and running but that would take some real effort and time, affiliate marketing would seem the way to go but I guess the worry of not seeing any sales against a few dollars each day with adsense is always the double edged sword.
HG, yes you are right. But, you could redirect your visitors to a blog where you write about and promote affiliate products which is completely acceptable from Hubpage TOS. Promote your weblin in every hubpage article, so you would attract visitors. I wish to do this, I haven't done.

I signed up based on this hub, however, what you didnt mention is how incredibly difficult the help documentation is. It looks pretty good but its very difficult to get started.
