If you are looking to sell some of your old items laying around your house on ebay you have two options. Your first option is to sign up for a free account and link it to your paypal/credit card to be able to collect money when someone buys from you. The second option is to pay ebay drop off stores to sell it for you.

They will sell it for you and you will not have to open an account deal with the other hassles that come with selling products online. You will not have to come up with a title, description, link your bank account or paypal account to your ebay account. There are however some drawbacks to selling products this way.

Generally you are required to give ebay drop off stores part of the commission when they do it for you. Generally the commission is set up 50/50 or 60/40 with the store always earning the lower portion if profits are not split evenly. This is a major drawback because you altleast lose a big chunk of no matter which store you pick.

For this reason I wold not use stores like these to sell old products. I would strongly discourage it for someone who is trying to start a business on ebay. You could never turn a profit losing chunks of profit that large to the stores. It would ensure that your business would fail.

If you think that you probably will never need to sell more than a few items then it is probably not worth your time to open an account. If you think you will consistently have a steady supply of things to sell you should probably open an account.

List Of Common eBay Drop Off Stores

  • I Sold It
  • Cash It In
  • Drop N Sell
  • Auction Smart
  • Online Power Sellers

Out of those five the most popular and one of the first to appear was I sold it. Other than that all the others are pretty much equal. Depending on where you live you may not have one of these stores in your particular area. There are some states that do not have alot of these type of stores and there are states that have an ample amount.

How To Find The Closest One To You

There are a couple ways to find some ebay drop off stores close to you. First check your local yellow pages and ad bulletins. They are often ads posted in them for these type of stores. Ad bulletins are a great way to find items to sell on ebay and find these type of business to sell it for you. If you can not find a store close to your using the yellow pages try ebaydropoffsite.net or we-auctionit.com.
