Help, Which EFIE Circuit Board For HHO Hydrogen Generator?

Easy EFIE help. To determine if you need the dual efie or a single or the wideband efie, the first thing you have to determine is what type of 02 sensor, (oxygen sensor) you have. There are two types of 02 sensors ; the narrow band and the wide band. The narrow band sensor was the first to be installed on automobiles. Wide band sensors were were not introduced until 1994 by Robert Bosch.

Be aware, just because your car manual says you have a narrow band sensor, this is not always correct, many car owners have upgraded from the narrow to the wide band 02 sensor. See the picture to help determine the type of oxygen sensors you have.

There are a few Import cars that the wide-band 02 sensors are installed on. These wide-band sensors will have four wires. If your oxygen sensors have five or more wires, it's a wide-band sensor and you may need to use the wide-band efie.

If you have determined that you have the wideband oxygen sensors, most of the EFIE's, or Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancers may not work on your vehicle. You may need to locate and buy a wide band EFIE. At this point there are very few wide band EFIE's available. You can view one at Back To Basics Fuel

If you have one wide-band 02 sensor upstream from your catalytic convertor you will need a single wide-band efie. If you have two upstream, you'll need the dual wide-band efie.

If you have determined that you have narrow band 02 sensors, the next step will be to determine how many upstream oxygen sensors are installed on your particular vehicle. It is the upstream 02 sensors that will need to be adjusted in order for your hho generator to operate correctly.

The best way to determine which 02 sensors you have, and how many sensors, is to buy a wiring diagram for your vehicle. Simply look for any oxygen sensors that are installed in front of your catalytic convertor.

Once you have determined how many upstream 02 sensors you have, you can determine which EFIE you will need. If you have one upstream sensor, you will use a single EFIE. If you have two upstream oxygen sensors, you will need the dual EFIE.

To understand which efie you need, all you need to know is that a single efie will handle one sensor, a dual efie will handle two sensors. So, in this example what would happen if you had 3 upstream sensors? You would then need a dual efie, which would handle the 2 sensors, then you would have to add on a single efie to handle the third sensor.

In some cases, very rare, you will have more than two of these sensors. In this case you will need to add enough efies to handle the amount of upstream sensors you have.

Only gasoline fuel injected vehicles need an efie, diesel engines do not need an efie.

I haven't found one single free efie plans that are worth two cents. In fact, it would cost you more to buy the parts and construct the electronic fuel injection enhancer, than if you simply purchased a shelf bought efie.
