We will set the IP address to the management LAN port (for both SPA and SPB) and to the iSCSI ports . (for both SPA and SPB) during the initialization of the storage box. But after this setting, we will not able to change these IP addresses by using “Navisphere Storage System initialization utility”. Here by explaining how to reset these IP addresses. This procedure also will be useful to reset all domain information and to restart the management server.

1) Open the internet explorer and access the storage manager setup as below by using the old IP

which is assigned to the management port of the storage box. In my case it is 151.8.21.11

https://151.8.21.11/setup

Provide the username and password (which is used for accessing the storage box) and click on

submit.

2) The full page is as like below.

3) Click on Destroy Security and Domain information for resetting all domain information and restarting the management server.

4) While warning comes, select Yes and click on submit.

5) Next stage will show status of our operation. You need to wait up to some time for getting the

storage system initialized. Click on Back to return back to the setup menu.

Now you will able to change the IP addresses of the management LAN port (for both SPA and  SPB) and the iSCSI ports (for both SPA and SPB) during the initialization of the storage box by using the “Navisphere Storage System Initialization utility”

Thanks for Reading Keep in Touch bye
